If only PGI made the Energy Cell carrying mech get credit for being slaughtered while running away with the power cell, then we would have some completions, or at least the KMDD gets credit also. Happened twice already I had my kill stolen, back to the grind for a bit on the mission.

- Problem in another thing... both team use only light mech for cell... early no medium and never heavy or assault. When all light dead - noone run for cells... more of it... your team rather kill enemy before it get cell than give chance them to get and then being killed. So - 2-3 runs for battery and no one care about that... and give no chance to other finish event...

When I was in the enemy base, I managed to take an enemy mech down with Streak missiles, but not the mobile base beside it. This is including having Active Probe.

If PGI keep introducing new modes in which Streak missiles are useless, couldn't they at least allow dead-fire shots like you can with LRMs?

Except of a few hours of sleep I am playing the challenge basically since it started, I got most of the challenges in under 4 hours of gameplay, but since then I am trying to get the Fuel Cell Carrier Kill, and its close to impossible without beeing very, very lucky.
I have 39 games in Incursion and I only have gotten 3 or 4 Fuel Cell Carriers in weapons range.

PGI, this challenge is extremely difficult to get and it has nothing to do with skill, its just pure luck. I know this is probably impossible to fix for this event, but please keep this in mind for the comming challenges.

- They turn off missile lock for LRM and same time - ssrm also... by mistake or for purpose - I dunno.

As someone who got the carrier kill, i would be fine if PGI would remove that requirement from the event.

It is too much luck based.

- For all who play - no matter in medium or heavy you are even in assault - take cell and keep it with you until event go... give chance to other have that goal finished... No need to run in heavy back to base, you can keep that battery with you and keep duel and brawling as before.

Impossible to get the "kill a mech carrying an energy cell". Only lights go after cells at the beginning of the match, so its light vs light, and the one carrying the cell is not going to stay, so pretty much if you have the damage output to kill them, you are to slow, if you are fast, the enemy team can kill you before you achieve your kill.

Should have added some event achievement like "hold an energy cell for 2 minutes" or "survive the game while holding an energy cell" to encourage people to take them and keep them.

Hello.
More than twenty hours played in NECESSARY ROUGHNESS. But I could not complete the "Delivery Failed" tasks. It is almost impossible to perform this task. To implement it, need an unreal combination of circumstances. The skill and perseverance do not give anything.
Thank you, PGI, for the interesting event and nice prizes. But it is this task that causes only irritation and fatigue from the game as a whole.
P.S. I'll rest from the game to calm my nerves.

The problem is once again PGI has designed a challenge which is dictated by your enemy's actions.

So if no one goes for the fuel cell, you failed because your enemy didn't complete step one of the process...which is garbage.

The only way to achieve this challenge is to hold back and allow your enemy to gain the cell, then intercept him before he gets back to his base-provided he picks up the cell in the first place.

Wherein, if they truly wanted to test player skill, they would have the challenge state "Kill an enemy mech while carrying a fuel cell."

I'm done with this.

I imagine it's also a good idea for marketing since it means the players have all weekend to see the benefits of premium time, and it will tempt more people into buying it.

That's normal. PGI may learn from it for a future event, but this weekend don't expect any improvements.

And I imagine we only care about that achievement for the mechbay. The 250,000 C-bills amount to pocket change, and the "envious eardrum" warhorn could give me ear cancer.

Just adding some salt, that has already been added, but you know...better to make sure the bitter taste arrives the recipient.


1. Incursion game mode rarely appears.

2. I see disconnecting people in other game modes. "At least 1 per match" would be a safe bet.

3. Suicidal tendencies have been inflationary increasing since the event started.



I love events. They have something of "Daily Quests" but this one is not really appealing and doesn't motivate me to get into the cockpit.
