In fact its been hit so hard, its now become a rarely used piece of equipment.
I know a lot of you are going o say this is because of the weight reductions, but it is also this way in Quick play.
I know a few (very small amount) of you are going to post that you use it, an congratulations, but the powers that be have made it almost a mythical mech. Rarely seen and too under-performing now.

Unless you're referring to the UAC Nerf, then ya all clan mechs felt that blanket nerf.

They need more nerfs. But they aren't the only ones.

I don't know how to even contemplate such a statement. Its like saying black is white or breathing kills you. How does one contemplate such a contrarian view of reality other than to say simply: you're wrong.
Kodiaks are still one of thee most frequently played mechs I...and based on the above commentary...and most others see in game. It is also still one of the highest rated mechs (see its placement on Metamechs for example). It is still dominating play. I will agree the the planed nerfs via the upcoming skill tree might change that (it is one of, if not thee only mech, slated to lose all its defensive bonuses as well), but right now it is still one of the top assaults...period.

It is definitely up there, but I think the Marauder IIC might be in that god slot for assault currently? I am not sure, it has hitbox and speed advantages over the kdk in either case.
But yeah instead of KDK being totally dominant and outclassing so many assaults, it now only outclasses most, such sad face
Just happens over time.

Yea it does have some advantages over the KDK I'll agree but I do find MAD IIC to be easy to pick apart like a Dire Wolf from most of my engagement. I would put the MAD IIC in the demi god spot since it's best variants from my opinion the Prime, A, D, and Scorch are the best of what the chassis can bring.

Pokebear is still king of all. MAD-IIC has 15 tons of weight advantage in GQ and CW.

Like a 75kph dire wolf hehe, but yeah it depends what you are trying for in terms of its hitboxes, its ability to almost force a specific ST to absorb all damage makes for some weird tankiness in damage transfer through components I think that gives it the real brawling bonus in the twist, but once you know the vitals (crotchplate, right torso, that barn wall of a backside etc), their weaknesses start to show.
KDK has that frankenstein-ish clumsy-ness with very clear hitboxes, it is pretty goofy tall too, where the marauder is longer but shorter.
Dire wolf is the literal whale mech ATM.
Outclassed in every way by so many mechs. 42kph (or is it 48? either way, desperately slow) no decoupling is a bit of a death sentence in MWO >.<
