Yes, granularity is better than generalizing, but my underlying point remains. IS mechs got largely bigger and harder to fight with effectively.

While the GHR got hurt, I'd argue that might have needed a bit of a tweak and it's still fairly commonly seen in public and comp due the effective niche it fills. Not TBR/NTG worthy obviously but still a solid role-player. The deletion of offensive quirks in the new PTS probably didn't help it remain competitive though.

Well, with the hopper it's offensive quirks weren't super powerful to begin with, but we'll have to see how the agility changes effect it. After all it lives and dies by how well it maneuvers more than how it shoots. New JJ skills might be for its benefit though, more "hoppy" hoppers is never a bad thing, but I'm a weirdo who runs full JJ's on my mechs.

Completely ignoring the fact that all my clan mechs have 12% cool down from modules and 5% cool down from fast fire. Also range and Radar Dep, Seismic.

At least the IS mechs get to keep most of their buffs.

keep most of their buffs?

you have got to be kidding me...

for example, mt TDR-SE loses it's LPL range bonus. it loses half or all of ALL it's offensive quirks, including heat quirks

CN9-D Looses about 32% lbx10 cooldown - you can only have one, on a arm that you can loose quite easily if you don't watch out. And you cannot fit ac20 (which will probably mean you wont be able to fit lbx20 or uac20).
While only getting back (if you spec for it) about 9.9%. And new tech doesnt change nothing about this mech apart from maybe LFE if at all.

Where are those inherent quirks that you get from skill tree? Because what I see it's just a nerf that's unjustified. Unneccessary nerf to a mech that was performing well. Was in that sweet spot of being good but quite far away from OP.
And now will just be "that another" centurion. Nothing unique about it, apart from the fact that it costs more than any other cbill available centurion.

f#@king pgi.
