Made a way too long post where being nice and talkative trying to explain why most friends i tried to bring had well...and how i will manage to say this without spoils but in pure dedication into wanting this game to reach its best state. Deletion problability was too high, shortened to its max: i might just say or suggest one thing.

Please work and rework the entire UI. Both inside the garage and in-game.
1px large borders like a high-grade css coder. A website you want to camp just for its beauty.
EVE Online-like or the opposite doesnt matter that would still triple the current population in my opinion instead of trying to reach the threshold on ## of mechs the current UI will handle.

some ideas:
-General Chat
-Presets for multiple builds on same mechs
-Market
-Customizable crosshairs / ui
-Logs on damage done/received on each mech parts , critical hits etc...
-Clan ladder, Player ladder.
-and probably many more possibilities...?

Not having played EVE, I think maybe the longer post would've been more useful.

From what I can tell this was promised in the pre-beta days but has been completely abandoned. There are some interesting suggestions out there, but I'd not hold my breath.

Agree, this is a major shortcoming in my eyes.

that was just quick ideas on the fly, just popped in my mind...if you bend over the problem and study it long enough maybe a few hours. im sure you can find amazing things to do.
