I really like to pilot small things and I am not very knowlageable about the mech warrior universe(pretty much I he all I know about this game from the forums)

Jenners, Comandos, yeah... probably won't see Protomechs or Elementals, at least not yet.

I'm not sure if they fall into the "available in 3049" category, but if so, the Flea and Hornet (not counting unseens) are about the smallest mechs going, aren't they?

really though the FLE-20 actually looks amazing, I'm normally not fond of being in a light mech but wow, that varient looks FUN!

The Locust is generally regarded as being the smallest in stature. Like other 20-tonners it's among the lightest 'Mechs.

Don't know if we'll see it in the game though. There's also the Flea but I really doubt we'll see that one (it's Wolfs Dragoons-only).

i would say the flea...that thing is tiny fast and very effective. but for now try the commando

I realy want them to redesign the locust, it was the most common light mech up to 3050 after all.

I would love the Locust to make it into the game at some point. It's one of my favorite all time mechs. And since I plan on running as a scout I would totally pilot that bad boy.

Depends if you consider Battlesuits (Innersphere) and Elementals (Clans) battlemechs. If you do, they are the smallest i believe.
