Playing with my unit in an organized group (5-8 players mostly) I had some very good games so far.
Mostly wins - actually happens when the majority stays together and communicates.

But the balance really is an issue and it shows.

- Lucky you - In all games I play today - we hawe 1-2 DC VS 12 Clan... We not have worse tech but also have less for 4-8 mech per match!! No fair you know... Hope some clan merc have Honor and switch sides soon... because there no honor in victory when your enemy prefer rage quit but not fight in useless war.

- Nope... I die often before I hit first 1000 damage. And for 400 score need 1800-1990 damage. And in same time Clan easy collect 2500-3000 damage for match and that seems a bit unfair.

It is 400 cumulative match score, not 400 in one match.

So 10 matches with a score of 40 qualifies you.

Sorry for what I think is a silly question by myself, but how does one play Skirmish, Assault, Conquest or Domination in Faction Play mode? I thought CW was just Siege and Scouting?

They changed this with Faction Play 4.1. like months ago.

It is now a Tug-O-War - System. It beginns with Skirmish(but with 4 Mechs), if your Side wins enough matches it goes into next phase Assault, If your side has won enough matches in this phase, it goes to the next phase and so on.

Only the last phase is Siege. Thats why we barely see Siege in CW anymore.
Exception is this event, where Claner seem to be so strong that we stay long time in Siege-Mode.

I played 17 12v12 cw/fp games as InnerSphere today and won 14 of the. I played 4 clan games and won 3 of them. I did 14 scouting matched as inner sphere to win 8 times.

IS pilots please stop whining and git gud.

- If you have luck that don't mean that everyone get it... 30 games for IS FP - 2 victory only... Only 7 count toward event for prizes.

you can win ... the problem is for every 1 match you win, 10 are lost

Just think. In less than two weeks the new Skill Tree drops. Basically giving un-quirked Clan mechs quirks, while stripping most of the quirks from underperforming IS mechs.

- Once again on the last mech Drop Screen stuck and timer go from 29 sec to 00 and starts again. That error hang me in game for 4 min... and ends as "disconnect from server". I still wait when that error was fixed, but seems it never fixed in near future. Playing against clan not so easy, but loose match because of such old error - just too much for me...
That error 6 month old and still I see it nearly in every 8th game in a row.

I have a really bad feeling that someone is manipulating Tug of War bar. I just checked war log in faction play and there is still 100% for clans.

Interesting event to go back playing Faction Warfare. Like all FP matches, good coordinated teams win, whether they are IS or clan. A nooby or disorganized clan group against an IS team, which is mainly unit lead, brings an obvious win by the experienced group. Same thing happen the other way, if the clan organized unit is put against some IS pugs. Victory by the clans in that case.

Experienced units whether clan or IS should go against each other, and pugs against pugs, but this is MWO and we will hardly see that for now. (yeah yeah, there's not enough people to do that and so and so...)

Awesome prizes by the way, at last we get plenty of supply keys, not to mention the most MC I remember being given in an event. Posted Image
