Always have I despised House Liao. Romano, Sun Tzu, Even the new incarnation for Dark Age. The only good ones it seems are Candace (and she married a Davion loyalist) and Isis (?) who leads the Magistracy. Crazy, sadistic, autocratic tyrants with god complexes.

And when replacing a kidney with a bomb is considered a good and noble service to your leader, you have to wonder about the culture.

I have to agree with you on this...

As much as they are not my favorite, they have one of the most established histories and backplots of any of the houses. Sure, they can seem very one sided with their basis leaning towards German WW2 standards of bigger is better and work towards the economic good, they are also home to the most rebelious region of space a state can have. The stories and conflicts and politics from the Isle of Skye are legendary.

As a reader, or just somebody who likes lore? Davion, because they are incredibly boring in that "Well, OBVIOUSLY we're the good guys" kind of way.

pre clan era (as this is) I have a issue with Liao, and believe the innersphere would be better for their utter elimination. I sitll have issues with Some of Davion and Steiener pilots, cocky sods that htey are, I have little issue with marik but i once got into a barfight with a marik, Kurita tends not to bother me to much.

Post clan invasion i hate liao and steiner so such an utter degree nothing else matters.

But during the FedCom civil war and then, my hate turns to House Steiner. Because it was then governed by the power-hungry b!tch Katerine Steiner-Davion, along with her treacherous double-crossing fanatics.
