I'm torn here. As a Davionist, i'm kind of obligated to despise House Liao.

On the other hand, pretty much every house has done terrible things, so that lets me spread the despising around! :)

So:

Liao, because I'm a Davionist.
Steiner, because of their abysmal tactical prowess and social general system.
Kurita, because of Kentares and their pseudo-japanese feudal society, which pains my 'freedom-loving Davion mind'. ;)
Marik, admittedly for Anton Marik, as I'm a total Natasha Kerensky fan.
FRR, just because they're new to the show, doesn't mean they don't deserve their share of loathery. Equality and all that.
Cameron, for being such jerks to the Periphery during the Reunification War.
Amaris, for being the jerks that ended House Cameron.
Kerensky, for being the jerk who took away all our shiny toys after Amaris killed off Cameron.
The Clans, (in particular the Crusader faction) for being jerks who want to kill us all off and impose their own rule.

But most of all, though they aren't exactly a house, I despise the Word of Blake. Bloody Wobbly fanatics, always planning and scheming and conspiring. Not a fan.

House Corrino, for banishing 'Mechs from the Inner Sphere indefinitely.

House of Gaga. Seriously, those people could solve world hunger with their creativity. Instead...

House, White. Need I say more?

House Liao without a doubt. Clan Jade Chicken follows with a close second.

Well I like all of you.

Everyone has a part to play in RP and in MWO.

And I wish you all the best, in enjoying the game.

Ditto. :P

Besides, Sian has a nice Pirosky/Noodle place that I like to stop at when the AFFS (AFFC is so hard to say given our MPBT history) marches over "the speed bump" on our way to have "frank and productive discussions" with House Marik.

For me, it would really depend on who's leading (as most of my opinions were formed by reading the novels) there is a burning passionate...distrust in me for Romano Liao and her father, but Sun-Tzu seemed to turn out alright (alright enough for Kai to be fine with the re-absorbtion of his mother's realm anyways - though that may have been just so he didn't have to rule, never the most confidant our Kai....)
So I cannot entirely say House Liao....

Word of Blake Terrorists deserve burning... yet much of what they did was in objection to the garbage Com-Star pulled

Com-Star was pretty nasty/underhanded, but a LOT of that was Myndo Watterly.. Focht was one of my favorite characters - Ex-Steiner badass trying to make the universe better in what ways he thought he could.

The Smoke Jaguar Commander who ordered the burning of Edo Bay.... he CAN be excused, but he still failed in oh so many ways.... and the Jags were a pretty big pile of turds.... but hate?

In the end I may dislike individuals, may dislike Ideologies... but there is surprisingly little actual HATE in me for much of anyone.

oh, plase note that I specifically used the word "despise". I hate no one, it is truly a wasted emotion.

to despise someone roots to the thought of them being "dispicable" etc.

Liao... Davion.... Steiner..... it matters not. I kill everyone just the same :)

But those Mariks... I kill them just a bit harder than the rest

I despise the Draconis Combine most, since House Kurita are extreme ruthless and brutal dictators and warmongers. I especially despise them, since they're always attacking the most colorful (yes, we have planets, which are ruled by Anarchy^^) of the Successor States, the LyrCom
In addition, I don't like their slavish obedience to their code of honor. A Kuritan would consider it to be honorful to commit a massacre when he's ordered to do so. As it could be seen on Kentares.

Davion. They are most boring house in BT.

But I have to agree, House Davion is the most boring House by far, especially post-Clan-Invasion. But that didn't happen yet :)

Honestly, every house is deeply flawed... But, if I had to pick, it would be a tossup between Steiner and Kurita. The Lyrans really need to get their act together militarily (read up on it and have a laugh, on me ^.~), and many Kuritan leaders use the word 'honor' like toilet paper; It looks good before it's used up and tossed out. That kind of honor makes me queasy.

Yeah, but if the Dracs didn't concentrate on the LyrCom during most parts of the 2nd Succession War and the entire 3rd Succession War, you're fabled military wouldn't be in any better shape than the LCAF during the 3rd War. House Davion was only able to revitalize its military after the 1st Succession War because House Kurita concentrated on the LyrCom. We maybe lost ground, but we still held our own. We even pushed House Kurita back during Operation Freedom prior our Alliance with the Federated Suns, and we kicked their *** during Operation Götterdämmerung :(

They aren't Houses, really, and they didn't hang around for long, but the Word of Blake is full of religious whackjobs that believe that they will come to lord over all. After that, ComStar. A communications conglomerate should never have that much power.

After that though, I'd have to say it's the Draconis Combine. 52 million men, women, and children scream for vengeance, and thirst for Combine blood.

LONG LIVE THE DAVION BLOODLINE!

The Inner Sphere and it's warring is just stupid, and to quote Aleksandr Kerensky,

"Know that I have taken the remnant of the Star League Defense Force which has remained true to its purpose beyond the boundaries of the Inner Sphere, beyond the Periphery. I have done this, neither out of disappointment with those whom we leave behind, nor out of spite or disdain, as some will say. No, we have left the Inner Sphere because we love it too much to see it destroyed. In the wake of the Usurper's coup, and the long, bitter fighting that came with it, I fear that my forces would do incalculable, possibly irreparable, harm to our society. We are sworn to ward the Star League and its subjects, not destroy it.
"Thus, we have left the only homes we have ever known to place the destructive capability of this armada beyond the reach of those who would use it, not for defense, but for conquest. Perhaps, with the might of our 'Mechs and ships out of reach, the leaders who now grapple with one another will relinquish their dreams of subjugating their neighbors and learn to live in peace with them.
"Perhaps, one day, should mankind step back from the brink of the abyss, we, our children, or our children's children will return, to once more serve and protect and guide the Star League in mankind's quest for the stars.

Also when it comes to the clans, the warden clans are the only ones I believe are right.

That brings tears to my eyes.

If it has to be an inner-sphere house, than liao... abject supression and tyranny, topped off with quite literally insane leaders.

Of course, my hatred for liao pales beside my hatred for "society" in the clans, especially the ones like the smoke jags or the falcons.
