Except, again, smaller units with a high w/l can out-perform much larger units.

just because you can win the lottery it doesn't mean that the chances are good

Winning isn't a lottery. Winning 90% of your matches (a little over 7.2 out of 8) pays out even for small teams. A small team can do just fine - just have to carry hard.

a 4man team [A] carries hard plays 3 Matches and wins all three ->12 Points 100%win
a 12man team [B] deploys 3 Dropships to Scouting
[B1] wins 1 out of 3
[B2] wins 1 out of 3
[B3] wins 2 out of 3
Team [B] gets 16Points at a Win Ratio of 44.4% in the same amount of time

more tickets buys you more chances to win in this lottery

What is with all the moaning and groaning around here (not you xX PUG Xx) just in general. We started scouting hard Saturday afternoon. In a single afternoon of scouting (which I happen to love the game mode but I know I am the exception) we gained dumb number of points. Scouting is competitive and quick. It takes some thought to execute properly. The only issue I really have with scouting is ...
It shouldn't be worth a full point it should be like 1/4 point to balance Invasion drops. GG PGI but we are used to this.

Clans have a GG deck. Basically if they run Nova SPL it is nearly impossible to beat them unless you start rolling with 3 LPL and a battle light and your group is skilled enough to aim.

If IS on Intel gathering runs 4 very fast lights GG they should win close to 100% of the time if mistakes are not made.

Other than the 3 issues above for scouting I enjoyed the event. I played largely invasion mode until I realized the point imbalance was confirmed to me Saturday afternoon. I haven't enjoyed FP this much in a very long time. IF FP was this active I would return back to again as a unit.

6ML WLF can counter most nova builds simply by out ranging/out running them. Both sides can easily be countered easily enough with a little forethought, preparation and teamwork.

Well, so be it, but I have to agree-Invasion should be considered more important than Scouting since Scouting doesn't decide control of a planet-merely the direction of support powers.

So, we need proper weighting for leaderboards.

Aren't you guys a little annoyed, like I am, that PGI missed this from the get-go? It's as if they don't play this game mode.
