Oops... forgot the Sig origin. After first creating it for the BT Center, my friends and I started playing the 1st ed MW RPG. I created him in the rpg while my friends took other names Steven used on that album. Since my character had a level in Leadership and a non-sucky Charisma score, I was the nominal leader. My friends and I brainstormed Goldstein's Gloryhunters that day. The Mechs were what the GM assigned to us as a group. Since I was "In Charge" I got the stalker (which we dubbed "Spud One"). Through some lucky head shots we acquired a stable of mechs as backups, and toward the end I recruited pilots to fill them for a mission, so I became a Captain. Fun times!

I chose my name based on the BT lore. However, after seeing several posts that dog on anyone using the BT names, I wonder if it was correct decision. Most of my RL friends are former US military like myself. I had hoped that I could create an all RL former military version of the Kell Hounds. In all of the books the Kell Hounds (even though they were mercenaries) had the ideals that all US military branches and units hold dear....Honor, Courage, and Commitment. Then I saw the recruiting post by the folks at Bravo Whiskey Delta. I didn't mean to be an ***...but then again I was Navy sooooo....LOL.

As soon as they let me, I will change my name but it was intended to be in the right spirit.

Powerferret came from an offhand drawing I did of a ferret shooting lighting bolts. Thus the powerferret was born:

I have never found another place on the internet, xbox, anywhere that has another powerferret, so i figure it's pretty unique :)

Ah yes, I forgot my sig origin too.

Tbh anyone who's played games since '97 really ought to know this one without a hint..

It's the quote from the side of the original Unreal box (back when games came with a box & book), regarding the Unreal Ed - Iirc it was the first game that as standard came with the exact same SDK as the devs used to build it in the first place, provided to you according to your divine-right as a pc gamer.

This spawned the MSU contest, & I'll bet my bum that MWLL and just about every other mod-team out there who do really professional-level stuff wouldn't be here today had it not been for Epic including the Ed and supporting modders as well as they did.

The .T32 is just a loyalty thing to my old gaming group who still run the Titan.T32 servers - I would have added it to my screen-name but since the forum-name will also be our in-game names I didn't want to confuse things by adding clan-tags.

ill start with my sig as it leads to the the meaning of my name

Nin Kanji: has been the way i have tried to live my life for many years ,i also trained in Bujinkan ninpo taijutsu from 1990-1997 when the dojo shut down.
formless,shapeless:
“Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless - like water. Now you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup, you put water into a bottle, it becomes the bottle, you put it in a teapot, it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.”
(Bruce Lee) i believe this to be true and have tried to live by it ...sadly as i have gotten older i have become more and more rigid -but i keep it in mind and its helpful when times are tough. (also see "NIN" above)
KNOWLEDGE:
He who knows not, and knows not that he knows not, is a fool shun him;
He who knows not, and knows he knows not is a child, teach him;
He who knows and knows not that he knows, is a sleep wake him;
He who knows, and knows he knows, is wise fallow him.
(proverb)http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proverb ...i think of this everyday!
it is the goal that can never be reached always drawing you forward into the unknown.
and of course the old saying..Knowledge is Power
Brother Hood:
I would be true, for there are those who trust me;
I would be pure, for there are those who care
I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;
I would be brave, for there is much to dare;
I would be friend of all-the poor-the friendless;
I would be giving and forget the gift;
I would be humble, for i know my weakness;
I would look up-and laugh-and love-and lift.
(Howard Arnold Walter-MY CREED)
it also includes Strength, Honor,Truth,Duty but this is overly long so ill leave it as is.

Clan Wolf: the 1st Mechwarrior game i played back in day was MW2 i went wolf ,so I've stuck with it
The FLAG: goes with out saying im sure...

OK.. so my Name: Back in the day i used Lord Darkside but i got sick of all the star wars comments as the name had NOTHING to with star wars-so i changed it when i started playing AvP2 i wanted to keep the LD in my name- over the years i had changed as a person as well, i wanted a name that was more about me and who i had become with what is Written above in mind Lord Darkside became Liquid Death (DE_Liquid Death_GEN back in the Avp2 days)

I love to pilot light mechs, especially the jenner! I leverage my speed, my jump jets, and the terrain to attack from above and behind and punch a hole through your gyros. I was the original DeathStalker in MPBT, that went head to head with any other mech class from atlas to commando. I was the master gunslinger, dueling with other lights, with the one shot alpha strike to the torso. I tricked the assualts and heavies into thinking you were hunting me, and by the time you realized what was truly happening... I was standing alone in victory in the middle of a burning graveyard of metal that was once your hopes and dreams.

The meaning of my handle is evident. I stalk my prey. I ambush. I am the leopard that jumps on you from above and leaves you crippled on the ground. I am the tiger attacking from behind, leaping out of the jungle bush. I am the wolverine that is overlooked and underestimated, because of my size, but will ferociously and viciously attack you in the open when cornered. I am the stalker. I am death.

My name roughly translates to wolf dragon ironically how this name came about has nothing to do with Mechwarrior or the merc unit.

Wolf comes from Warhammer 40k reference to my favorite space marine legion the LUNA wolves and dragon for the dragon of mars (from the novel Mechanicam).

as for the signature it is a haiku from Basho one of the best poets of all time

Mine's fairly boring. My original handle was seeming juvenile, old, I don't know - just needed changing. This would be about 15 years ago I guess. I played Mechwarrior 2 and fell in love with Battletech and bought a number of tech readout books.

My first attempt was Marauder, but amazingly this was taken wherever it was I was trying to register. Marauder 2, Marauder2, MarauderII all failed. Finally settled on MarauderDeuce - in 15 years that handle hasn't been taken on any website so it's worked out quite well for me.

No motto, never felt the need although the closest I even came was For Pony! That was on a Neverwinter Nights server where I had a rather psychopathic undead. Ten points if you can pick the reference. :D

looking for group right?

I knew a guy with "Gremlich" for a last name. Great guy - until he got drunk. He would do things like put his head through doors and other, umm, painful entertainments. I first started using Gremlich for my D&D character, a Dwarf, in 1980 that went on to be pretty badass under D&D 1st Edition Rules. I just kept it. Plus, "$m3Gm@" was just wrong to use.

I've used this alias since before the internet was arpanet.

I only use it now for mech games, since Dynamix stuck me in Starsiege as a minor character.

My name is actually spelled, Scrooloose, but it was already taken :)

Scrooloose, is actually a character name in Mad Max, Road Warrior. I just thought it was perfect as a gamer tag and also as a Mech Pilot callsign.

I use it for everything, Day Z, Diablo 3, Space Marine, Mechwarrior titles... the list goes on

Once upon a time, I tried like, 20 different names to log on to some text-based MUD game (Avatar, I think it was), and all the names were taken. In frustration, I slapped the keyboard, and Kfobx popped up. I figured it wouldn't be duplicated, and it hasn't been for about 15 years. So, now I use it for all my screen names...

Long ago I read an article that posited UFO sightings were the modern day manifestation of ghosts/demons/angles. That what people would at one time claim was a heavenly/demonic visitation was now being referenced as an alien abduction. Somewhere in the middle of this article there was a creative "example". A young Appalachian girl comes running up to her house screaming. "Pa, come quick! I wuz down by the crick, and I wuz attacked by a giant floatin' bar haid!". A bear head. This kind of stuff gets stuck in my brain instead of usefull information. So BarHaid it is for me.

MuffinTop is in reference to some of these girls running around with love handles hanging out of their jeans. For example I saw a muffintop get out of her car, and she had a vanity plate that said PRNCSS. God only knows how many people put this into her head, that she is a princess.
