Whole lot of "Nope, wallet's closed" in those mechs. Jenner is far too fragile to face tank mguns with, and no JJ on the hbiic is a nonstarter. The orion has even less hardpoints than other variants, offering very little others cannot do better. And that Highlander, too slow to be worthwhile.

Might "just" get that Jenner. Its pretty unique, I give it that.

Still Never been much fan of IIC mechs, I mean Omnimechs shouldnt be overshadowed by second line mechs, IIC should be at most sidegrades. Sme for Is omnimechs and their IS battlemechs.

Well I look forward to the coming months. The other heroes, hopefully upcoming IS omnis, and other new mechs, new tech and such.

Okay since no one has mentioned it. One thing that the skill tree has done is bring back my hgn-iic poptart as it can actually poptart pretty darn effectively with 3 erppc, a tc7, 3 jj and a metric butt-ton of dhs...

I might have to see it i can get similar value here...

I don't even know what to say about the Hunchie IIC. Just sad they didn't give at least 2 energy for the left torso. 2 ballistic for the right torso would have been nice also. Wonder how many will buy it, thinking that they actually get all those hardpoints in the photo?

The hunchback iic hero pic is VERY deceiving. I get it for showing off hard point locations, but this is just false advertising.

Some nice alternatives. Jenny-IIC Hero can be a Clan version of the Hollander. HBK-IIC Hero can pack Goose+Peeps. Those two are decent.

Onion-IIC hero lacks hardpoints, so meh. Slowlander-IIC hero can equip 2xLB20X + 4xASRM6 for nasty brawler build, like the Scorch.

Let me check my wallet. As I suspected. Empty!

Extremely cool paint job schemes. A 'well done!' is in order to the art department.

Suggestion on the Orion IIC Hero - MASC is traditionally appreciated on heavy / assault mechs that want to maneuver rapidly for a primary purpose: Brawling. The 5 Hardpoint selection on the mech doesn't jump out at me as having a great synergy for this, although a case could be made for an LBX 20, A+SRM 6, 3 Medium pulse build. The thing with MASC being included might imply a standard hardpoint might be given up for it, and I get that, but assuming the mech might start off with 7 as an average, perhaps giving it 6 hardpoints wouldn't be out of line.

The Hunchback's just kind of silly, there's already a C-Bill version with 4 energy and 4 ballistic hardpoints, trading 1 energy for 3 ballistic and then asking us to pay cash is silly.

That Orion though...I know it's shy on hardpoints, but with the MASC...add in some heavy lasers and ATM rack, a big autocannon, and a big engine and I can see it wrecking some serious face, assuming the heavy lasers and ATM launcher aren't DOA.

I might be going full ****** here, but the pics dont seem to represent the mechs. The on1 iic shows a guass and a uac5 on the right torso but there is only 1 ballistic HP there. There is also other discrepancies.

I just finished working through all my Jenner-IICs before patch and did the Hunchback-IICs when I got them. Those 2 Heros here, nope.
Orion and Highlander, I don't have any of those and the loadouts look odd so unsure how useful they are.

The mech pictures are EXTREMELY misleading.....the loadouts the pictures have are no where EVEN CLOSE to what is stock shipped on them.
