wonderful advice! I've been stuck on "wtf" since that game... LOL.

Smash them with Gauss/PPC meta Night Gyrs, and utilize cover. Mass AC2 mechs are dps machines, they don't do much damage per volley, but if you give them the uptime, they will shred you. Pop, shoot, back to cover, minimize their uptime.

Saw it last night.

A team on Crimson Strait Conquest simply occupied the center island and put fire on the capture points in hopes of preventing capture.

It failed on their part.

So here's what you do. Keep your head down and focus on the objective. If it so happens that the mode is skirmish, then use cover to approach in close and go for the fast, furious, and intense brawl. You might lose a few guys, but you should be able to wrestle control of the map.

Then, unless you want to have AC rounds raining down on you, you overrun the drop zones...before they do it to you and camp your DZs at range with AC fire.

Having done the 72 AC/2 (12x6) drop before, I can say it is fun but only limited in effectiveness. It is an insanely fun way to defend Boreal Vault... but after that the mechs are slow and weak if separated. If you got rolled by that wave, you should just be thanking Jesus that those players did not bring a serious deck.

However, from the mixed messages that different Ghost Bears have made here, I am inclined to think that yall might have faced 12 triple-UAC/5 Jagers. This is a different story, and is a decidedly more deadly wave (especially in terms of percentage of their weight). They will take you down fast and they will show very little body. PPFLD sniper is a good counter, as is an SPL chettah rush. The key for both is, as always, to work as a team.

What mechs did they use? Cause the 6 ac/2 BJ thing was not adequately solved
