huh, and you are absolutely sure you are logged into your account? Sorry if that sounds lame, but seeing how I've had it work fine on 3 accounts, I've trying to figure out what could be different...

Quite certain, seeing as I only have one account, no one else in the household plays MWO, and I'm posting in this thread.

Top of the page reads Profile and Logout, as usual, and I refresh the page, and it still shows "x of 10,000."

My average match score at the start of the event was 202, if I just had AVERAGE games, it would be 50 matches to reach 10,000. It actually took me less than that, and my average had actually increased to 207 shortly before I reached the 10k total.

The best way to earn the match scores are conquest & incursion modes (and actually play the mode goals), and use srm splat attack, lurm rain, AMS gods, and LBX/streak limb removal service builds. Even if you're not doing the AMS god method...put an AMS on every mech you use. Stop 280 missiles in the match and that's 40 match score. I routinely see 300+ missiles intercepted with two overdrive nodes on a single AMS installation.

The guys in the triple AMS kitfox/novas and double-AMS bug exploit builds are stopping a thousand or more per match if they position themselves correctly and that's a lot of match points at 1 per 7 missiles. More importantly is that for the few tons they've devoted to AMS shielding (and it works against all missiles btw... SRMs, Streaks and NARC beacon pods... just slower velocity ones are easier to intercept) us that every 32 missiles stopped is effectively the same as granting 1 ton of standard armor to your team. My 1.5 ton AMS on my KCG typically accounts for 10 tons of armor protection.

You are doing it wrong then. Mech choice, Build, and Pilot style all must be a cohesive mix to get your mech to perform. Post a build so we can give some advice.

And let the "hate" start complaining that they will not be able of complete the event due of not enough time and some others "bla bla bla" in 3, 2, 1 .... I done my one today. Very happy with the event.

I got to 8500 over the weekend, playing quite a bit in the evenings hours. I can relate to people finding it a tad steep if you have limited play time available in general. I can probably get the rest in the next few evenings (I'm on Aus time, so Friday was out for us already), but good luck if you have to deal with more than just regular RL (say add kids).

My skill set and play time generally do not allow me to complete each and every event in full and that seems fine to me. I do usually pick up a range of goodies by reaching some of the benchmarks. I really appreciate those types of events. That's what tends to attract me to play a bit more and try for as much as possible and get a little extra enjoyment out of this game.

I seriously considered not bothering this weekend as a 10000 match score looked like quite a hill to climb with the time I knew to be available. I got lucky some things changed and a Saturday evening became available.

Yes, with a Mech and a mechbay in the prize pool, it should be a challenge, so that's not my concern. I was thinking that the 'all or nothing' set up is not the nicest for a broad range of players. I'd say add some increments in future at 2500, 5000 and 7500 for the lesser prizes perhaps? While still keeping the really juicy stuff a bit harder to reach of course.

I think that set up would motivate a lot more casual weekend warriors like myself, to at least be around for some of the time, giving the very active players something more to shoot at as well.

3 or 2 AMS mech rock. Even the 2x ams locust got me some good scoring. Actually teaches the role of support, when to press, and when to KILL!!! Mobile AMS interceptor is fun.

Also finished it twice over saturday and sunday, just finished painting 100 mechs =). Considering doing 3rd account for colorzs and a free linebacker !

I just found out how Fugly the kitfox is, I cant find One pattern / colors combo that i like on it.

For those who keep getting just x/10,000, for this event somehow they have two separate links. The first link you see on the main page takes you to the SMS conversation, the sale list, and the 'demo' event page that has the x/10,000. Do not click on this link. Scroll down on the main page until you see the 'MWO Events and Challenges' box. This is the correct link to the actual event page that tracks your progress.

As always, ensure you're logged in, etc.

It's a pretty easy event; you just have to play enough.

I've just been playing normally, levelling the free Banshee 3M(C) I got from a previous event, and without even using methods to increase my match score (like running AMS and farming LRM shootdowns), I still made over 60% in just a few hours of play.

Need more nerfing for me to open my wallet. The Skill Tree was a good start but the game is still too easy.
