Its on the screen where you customise your mech. Select the mech you want to customise and on the left theres a tab called camo spec.
Be careful theres one shot pattern, those cost 75mc and unlock pattern and those cost 750mc but only unlock for one chassis. So be sure to switch to one shot.
If you chose a faction you can use a global chat in game and can ask question.

It is a little sneaky. yo need to go to the mechlab and click on camo, then patterns. change to one shot instead of unlockable. This does mean that you cannot use the pattern more than once. If you have three mechs you need to buy the pattern three times.

Off-the-cuff idea for new game mode for Memorial Day weekends (added into normal game mode choice rotation) -
- City maps only - Crimson Strait, River City, Frozen City, etc.
- Can be overlaid onto Assault, Domination, and Skirmish, game modes
- Introduction of Mobile Mech Bays (as per MW4:Mercs and earlier games) - one MMB per side -
- Allows damaged mechs to re-arm and repair and attach a winch equipment item (single use) for dragging back the bodies of fallen comrades (to the Memorial Zone below) - cannot be re-used by same player until a comrade's wreck has been recovered (friendly wrecks have beacon on them).
- Enemy team loses salvage bonus from recovered mechs.
- Recovering player gains event stars to redeem for special prize plus bonus xp for fight actions while recovering a fallen comrade (excluding LRM use if not line-of-sight target).
- Active use of voice comms promoted to co-ordinate wreck recoveries and assist each other to get the special prize.
- Memorial shelter zone - a single (central?) cenotaph plaza within which mechs cannot be fired upon, only one mech at a time within it, recovered comrades left here (auto-detatch and winch demount after 5 seconds in the zone).
- Visitors can stay within zone for maximum 15 seconds then get relaunched at their original spawn point (without repair) with or without dragging a wreck into the zone.
- Leaving zone before 15 seconds is "normal walk-out" exit.
- No return to the Memorial zone within 2 minutes.
- Both teams' voice comms silenced (jammed) while a player is in the zone (show respect for the fallen).
- Visitors can stay within zone for maximum 15 seconds then get relaunched at their original spawn point (without repair) with or without dragging a wreck into the zone.

I know the rules say "no substitutions for prizes," but...what the hell? It doesn't hurt to ask, I imagine once you win it.

ah: it's only on the event page, not on the news item.
