Do You Name Your Mechs?

I name them along the line of attributes I associate with cats/weather.
I know my unit commander does the practical naming... like literally...
"hot"
"cold"
"range"
(though he could be more specific... "range laser" for example...)
I imagine maybe some hardcore lore guys are naming theirs like "Nicholas Kerenesky"
I don't know... do you name your mechs? And if so, what is your naming scheme?

Laser vomit mechs tend to get named on the amount of medium lasers it has (all my builds have non-breaking ghost heat amount of LPL). So a 2LPL/4ERML Timber would be named like Tbr-A-Las4, while a 2LPL/6ERML Ebon Jag is Ebj-C-Las6. Warhammer with 3LPL/2ML would be Whm-6D-Las2, etc etc. (I have multiples of the same mech, with slightly different laser configs on the medium lasers)
Ballistic mechs just get whatever ballistic listed in their name.
I don't own a single LRM boat.
Gauss/PPC mechs get named GauPPC, and I've started to stick a second distinction behind that like GauPPC-J, as in I put 8 points into Jumpjets (I have 5 Night Gyrs, all Gauss/PPC, but again, set up slightly different with amounts of medium lasers/skill tree/etc.)

After seeing this thread I think I'm going to call my KDK-2 'Drop Bear' and watch that video again.

I have 160 mechs to keep track of...wadiyagonnado? I know there are some folk who name by theme or TV show characters but damn, I just don't think I would know the defining qualities between my Apu Victor vs Homer Battlemaster vs my Moe Atlas. I'd still have to pull em up and look. So that is useless to me, no mater how entertaining.

- Hymir: KDK-3, for Hymir is a giant and the KDK is huge.
- Ragnarok: MAD-IIC - sort of an honour name, because the damn 'Mech just ends people.
- Thor: MAD-IIC-A; god of thunder, twin ERPPCs, makes sense.
- Loki: DRG-1C. The trickster. People always underestimate the Dragon...
- Magni: MAD-3R, named after the god of strength for its tankiness.
- Nott: A Night Gyr, what better fit than the goddess of night?
- Balder: TBR-C(S), 'cause it looks better than it actually is, that kinda fits Balder.
- Tyr: WHM-6R. God of war, Warhammer, easy enough.

Locust: Ankle Biter
Shadow 2D2: Murder Hawk (light mech hunter that is to be used in a lance of identical mechs and using Carrion Crows name as a play on words.)
Heavy Metal: Pretty Baby because of it's pink camo.
Marauder: Oh Yeah Baby because I love the chassis.
My Battlemaster and Thunderbolt hasn't been named yet.

They're all named 'Bob'.
"Move it,Bob!"
"Whoa Bob, WHOA!"
"Bob are you blind? How did you even miss that shot?"
"That was a bad time to shut down, Bob."
"I'm sorry Bob, I can't do that..."
It makes thing easier for both of us.
