That's what double coolshots are for.

TBH I don't know how they're going to nerf the Night Gyr without taking it from "good gun platform" to "a heavy mech that wants to be an Assault, but fails at both jobs". Because all that's really left is lowering agility even more, or making the CT a larger target, and both of those will ruin the poor thing.

Also, the fact that they're nerfing MAD IICs before I got a chance to use one makes me sad.

I'm not good enough at MWO to get called a cheater, but I wouldn't be too proud of myself if I was, if they are going as far as to actually call you out, they are probably reporting you too and I don't trust PGI not to ban someone without evidence.

I don't care about knowing if someone is good, or is just cheating, if i find him to be exceptionnally good, i report him... Why? Because i have no way of knowing if he is just good, or using a hack. PGI is supposed to have the necessary tools to determine if someone is cheating, or not, it's their job to determine if someone is just good, or if there's something else to explain their exceptionnally good results.

In fact, in competitive gaming as in sport, those on top of leaderboards should always be controlled to check for potential cheating.

Thats the smallest use of the Firepower tree i have seen in game to date.

You are doing it backwards of everyone else, maybe that why they think you are a dirty cheater. Posted Image

Most people i know are throwing 25 pts onto firepower on a mech like that.

Or they could fix it so it actually has to use the mech operations tree and get some cooling.

The NTG is broken right now, im not sure on the actual numbers but just fixing its heat dissipation would be a great start. Dunno how none of you have noticed but 3 MPL 3 UAC5 NTG is cooler with the Global Dissipation nerf and no tree then it was Pre Tree.

They wont kill mobility they will fix it, because its broken right now.

As others have said, you were piloting one of the best mechs in the game and you are a good player...lethal combination? Yes! Hacking...? Nope.

Even I can muster a fairly decent score in a good mech sometimes.

People just get pissed when you blow them up and they just spout out nonsense in match most of the time over general chat.

I noticed quite a few people telling me the Javelin needed to be nerfed if I blew up their mech last week in that chassis. It's good, but it's definitely a lot easier to kill than a lot of lights. I know, I've piloted them and killed them in other mechs.

On my Clan alt account yesterday I had good positioning, pushed in a group and my un-mastered Hellbringer did 1,455 damage, got five killing blows and seven KMDDs. Nerf the Hellbringer? Nope! Sometimes teamwork, armament, use of cover, a lot of torso twisting and luck all come together into a good match. I surely don't always do that much damage.

Great... Another group of idiots accusing others for cheating after getting their asses kicked. If that unit played in FP, they wouldn't like getting clubbed to death by comp teams. Id imagine they would start accusing players of cheating right away in the middle of the game. PH-R obviously has no idea how to tell if someone is cheating or not. Funny to see on screen shot but very shameful especially when it comes to bad accusations....

...So, if someone happens to excel at this game, they should live in perpetual fear of being banned because people report them for cheating, because nobody could possibly be that good?

Arm lock + override = cheating

I guess...

I suppose they'd hate my 46 point firepower build that lets me alpha the same build 2.5 times without overheating at all...

Certainly. Orthodox one-hit-delete build.

I mostly focused on Mobility, since MAD-IIC moves like a barn, otherwise.

mines kinda similar, I'll have to give this one a shot.

This has to be sarcasm. It has to be...

... I don't even...

And I'm a terribad pilot, but I know I'm terribad. The last thing I think when I get smoked in a game is that the enemy pilot is cheating.

Jesus Christ, I'd hate to have to go through life as some of you guys. Your inner misery is palpable.

It's just a game fellas. Try to keep a little perspective.

Any sufficiently advanced technology skill in mechlmechlab and gameplay will be indistinguishable from magic cheating.

That's my exact build, though the skill shrubberies are different. I'm more loaded toward heat mitigation.

As a former friend of mine used to say, "It's not cheating if it's in the game." It's a mechlab. We've all got the same one.

It's totally OP's fault that he chose to getgud. It's not his fault that his hackusers have not sufficiently improved to distinguish between skill/know-how and hax/cheating.

I gotta step up my game. I haven't had a nice hackusation directed at me in months :(

Must be a mistake, no one in the right mind will accuse a LRMboat, who claims to carry the team with LRMs, with cheating.

When I was new to the game, there was someone cheating in a LRM boat on my team. After I died he was the first person I spectated that match. He was insta-twitching from player to player, while the reticle never left center mass of the target even when maneuvering. When a group of enemies all were spotted together, his mech freaked out and was swapping targets and aiming between all of them several times a second. It was almost if it was getting electrocuted. Don't remember his name, and he was in an Awesome IIRC.

The cheery on top... he was shooting at 1,200m and calling the enemy team hackers because his lurms weren't hitting.
