What is missing from the current map rotation that we still need? People want maps but i seldom see suggestions for what style of map we are lacking.
Also, they have to keep the lights on so unless you can prove that adding maps will continue/increase revenue beyond a few people threatening to keep their wallets closed, they have to do things that make money (some of which are possibly being disegenous).

Sure PGI needs to make money I get that, there is premium time, lock box keys, and while I'm saying I'm tired of seeing mech pack after mech pack being sold without any other content development I'm not saying don't allow PGI to sell them. Only don't bombard us with monetization efforts without any other development being done.

Yes new maps are on the roadmap, the far future road map, yet mech pack after mech pack has been dropping on our heads month after month, and a long drought between a new map.

they're making new maps. it's not exactly easy to make an entirely new map compared to a new mech model, you know, especially given they have to make it work with EVERY game mode. so stop acting like an entitled jerkoff. new maps will show up when they're done. they're also done by a diff bunch of artists than the mech guys, so it's not like new maps are being delayed by new mechs showing up either.
and to put it bluntly, regardless of how much cash you've put into the game, that cash was spent by you to get access to stuff NOW, or early. Nowhere in there does it mention "I have the right to ***** at PGI because they can't create new maps as fast as i want them to."
there's new maps on the Roadmap, they'll come out. just gotta be patient. I know that's an alien concept to you Jade Chickens.

Yes, because they can sell mechpacks to generate revenue that is used to pay staff, rent, and utility bills. Maps cannot be sold because selling maps splits the matchmaking queue into two groups (those who bought the map, and this who didn't) which will have disasterous effects on waiting times.
Did you want to just donate money to PGI to fund map making?

Personally I'm going to wait for some new playable content rather than new mech's that PGI will nerf after I buy them.

Your statements basically translate to "we don't care what content you give us as long as its free"
If you can cite real shortcomings in map concepts then by all means, but i just love those (not saying you specifically RW) that scream for maps, offer no reasoning justifying the maps, and then when said maps are delivered they complain they don't like the map, or that its too high quality for their potato computer.
You can't just say you want new maps b/c you are bored, b/c they could just take the Bog and re-color it to look like Pandora.

First off. There is plenty of new content. Skill Tree. Incursion. New weapons next month. How will the new mechs be nerfed? I haven't seen anything of this. As for your obsession with new maps, they are coming, PGI has stated it. And an idea for it, a new city map with underground tunnels.

To me, real content is for PvE, not so much PvP.
You may not agree, but thats my perspective...

Perfectly logical. You made your point with facts. Everyone has a different opinion and that is great. Just have some reasoning with it when you do.

I don't think there is room here in this post to describe how and to what extent each and every mech ever released has been modified since their introduction, usually in a negative fashion.
Sure there have been some positive adjustments, usually occurring after an over correction by PGI, such as with the durations in burn time for clan lasers.

Seriously, you are going to sit there and troll saying there have been no nerfs to any mech since their release date. Not rising to it bud.
Someone has been drinking the PGI cool-aid.

While I agree it is the biggest addition to the game in quite some time, I'm simply wanting to see other additions to the game such as new maps or game modes, not just things we are expected to pay for.
Does this mean that I do not support PGI monetarily? No, I'm a founder and I've spent plenty over the years in mech's and other goodies.
We did get a new play mode recently, but unless I have a high multiplier no one votes for it. New maps might suffer the same fate. I've just gotten fatigued with the same maps coming up over and over.
