Seriously, you are going to sit there and troll saying there have been no nerfs to any mech since their release date. Not rising to it bud.

Someone has been drinking the PGI cool-aid.

Still haven't seen this. Still haven't seen facts. I've seen balance changes. Not big enough to seriously weaken or strengthen (unless it was an Urbanmech)

Pope is right, though, because PGI tends to stink at Out-Of-The-Gate balance for new mechs. This does not make me unhappy about the new Mechs, though. I will just ride the balance wave.

The first clan wave was the worst example of Pay to Win this game ever had. The Kodiak release proved how poorly they understand energy vs ballistics balance. However, they may have learned a little since then.

Perfectly logical. You made your point with facts. Everyone has a different opinion and that is great. Just have some reasoning with it when you do.

Yeah i get that others may not see things the way i do and some things simply cannot be expressed with empirical facts. If someone wants to have an opinion of "all that matters is new maps" more power to them. Maps are the least interesting thing to me except in FP where you can know the map you are going to drop on and plan your tactics/decks accordingly.

More maps in QP will *possibly* equate to more people getting stuck in the wrong build on the wrong map.

If they allowed us to say, queue for a weight class but not pick until the map/mode is chosen, i'd care a lot more. Of course this would potentially suck for those with few mech options...

Oh thank what invisible sky God you worship. I understand now, I though you were simply being argumentative. Not that there was an language barrier between Earth and Solaris.

A balance change which affects a mech in a negative fashion (regardless of scope) is a nerf. A balance change in the opposite direction is a buff.

Thank you so much for helping with that. For the record there is an entire forum dedicated to the archival of these "balance changes"

I'm about 99.9% sure that a lot of the LRM-obsessed players would still LRM regardless of map.

....I don't understand the selection of the Osiris.

If a light 'mech for IS was on the docket, things with much more reasonable weapons loads/hardpoint potential are available- heck, we could have even finally got an IS omni such as the Raptor or Owens.

Is this something to do with popularity in MW4? Was there a poll I never saw? Can anyone explain?

The other 'mechs I at least understand (though I'm still wondering where the Turkina is for the Clans).

I *think* the reasoning was to include mechs that were specifically noted for service during the FCCW. Now, I have *read* this, but not being a lore buff myself, I do I can only relay this info...

I really hope there is a longer time on the pre-orders. I am pissed off at Xsolla for the second month in a row on a bad order. Now I have to prove how things went down to PGI (who is working nicely with me). I've already lost $30, lost out on a pre-order that did not go through back in FEB/MAR (IIRC).

I really wish they (PGI) would deal with Paypal directly instead of those clowns.

I've got about $300 tied up in this current debacle with Xsolla so. I'm bummed out and concerned until I get it straightened out. More time would be nice.

I like the game, I like when there are sells, I love the tournaments (wish they were announced with more advance notice).

I think part of the maps solution would be to change the boundaries on them. It looks like small modifications to the maps, along with rotating spawn points might mitigate some of the current angst over lack of new maps.

The Arctic Wolf is a Clan Omni Mech... yet 2 of the variants don't use FF armor? Is that a misprint? How would omni pods work in that case? Can someone explain this?

Not a misprint. Apparently there were both Omni and batlemech versions in lore and PGI is staying true to that.

Yes I just noticed this on Sarna also Posted Image Thank you for the quick reply.

I play IS mechs on my account but I may get a smurf for this little guy. Back in MWO it was one of the few medium mechs that could knock an assault mech down with damage Posted Image

Yeah, they should just sell each variant Individually for like $10 each, or $15 for the hero, maybe $12 for the special and any pre-order gets the pre-order bonuses.

Actually, you have the mindset of a freeloader. If you want to play for free, then just play and save your C-BILLS until the Mechs are out for C-Bills. Also, people have been saying R.I.P. MWO since beta and it is almost 6 years later.

Ok mister veteran~ :)

Seems like everyone is fine with PGI simply monetizing. So be it, enjoy the new mechs without any new content.

Personally I'm going to wait for some new playable content rather than new mech's that PGI will nerf after I buy them.

Simple solution: play something else and check back every once in a while until MWO is what you want it to be.

Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer is pretty intense, give that a try.

Those are called fixes. I'm not seeing nerfs. I know what negative balances are, and there have not been serious nerfs. Seriously, I still don't see these. Specific point.

so PGI is pulling in a Nightstar hero.
a mech that was used by Tancred Sandoval in the Civil War, a person that had a big role in the war.

and we get a hero mech from ANOTHER DRAGOON that had no role in the war?
why PGI, why?

srsly. fix it PGI and give us the FITTING HERO MECH to this whole update!

I'll talk to Russ about the early adopters deadline. We did have a longer 2 month deadline for the first Civil War Pack.

Thank you. Trying to cough up that kind of money is a little tough, in a short period of time.

1. The Osiris played a pretty big role in the FCCW, especially as portrayed in MW4 Mercs
2. It's tailor made for this game's ongoing light mech meta. It comes bone stock with 5 medium lasers and an SRM6
3. Do you really want the Owens? It's built around electronic warfare elements and has an abysmal amount of weight for weapons. The Raptor is basically just an omni-locust, and we really don't need yet another blindingly fast light with borked hit reg.

Good job on putting *both* battlemech variants of the Arctic Wolf into the reinforcements. You can keep those omnis. I'll wait for the cBill release.
