Nice roadmap PGI but I am very concerned about the game modes. This IS the game. Pay attention please, you kinda need to...

Yes new mechs are great and exciting etc, it brings in your revenue so I won't say anything about that but. To keep the fans interested, you need to address critical points in your match modes (they are too basic). I have relegated this game and only play on events now, and I love the mech franchise a lot (I'll only leave if ED gets implemented).
Skirmish - Why is this even in there.
Conquest - Good but still not great, are there rewards? Can't you have mini bases, which provide your team with something useful?
Assault - Put the old base back in and it's suddenly FIXED. Else, remove it completely, I hate peaceful wins/losses !!!
Domination - Cowards vs the brave? Give something to the people being brave e.g. ECM cover, walls to hide in. A team benefit for being in the circle. And for Pete's sake, change those stupid mini breakable objectives to removing 10 seconds off the timer not adding. Suddenly you've given lights (and fast meds) a lot more game worth rather than the standard bruisers. Rush early in for caps, then they can end the game by a sharp/daring flank to take out the objectives. Whoever has more players in the circle, slowly lower the counter (to put pressure on the cowards).
Incursion - It'd be nice if PGI share the stats on how many times this gets chosen. I like it, it seems clever, the benefits lights can provide the team are great. Unfortunately it never gets picked so I can't play it.
Escort - By far the biggest, lamest joke I have ever seen in a game. I thought this would have been removed by now but it's not. I've almost never seen this get picked so PGI please please share the stats on how often this gets picked vs the other game modes. I can't make suggestions on this mode, as it needs to start again. DON'T remove the mode as the idea is great, but rework it so it's fun. Maybe Ditch the Altas for a car/tank convey, that shoots back. Give the attackers the option to capture a radar tower (to reveal), this gives the defenders a side mission to choose to defend it to conceal their location or not.

On a side note about maps, the fact that certain maps now won't show up because of compatibility kinda sucks. It's actually taken a step backwards in regards to map choice. I have faith this will somehow be re-worked but please do try.

However:
1. The last new map was FIFTEEN MONTHS AGO.
2. Month-long events are just a lazy way of avoiding more frequent events.
Some of your most loyal playing customers burn through these events within days ... leaving them with nothing new to aim for weeks at a time. By all means make event rewards achievable in say 10 days, so that slower players have an opportunity to earn rewards. However, stretching them out to a month creates the opposite problem.

Bring on the FP randomness! Week-long changes in the atmosphere of the fight.
- A week with half gravity
- A week with double gravity (AC shots fall faster too)
- A week with no LRMs
- A week with only lights in dropdecks
- A week with Quadruple strength dropship lasers
- A week with no dropship lasers
- A week with only mediums in dropdecks
- A week with 1 MC given per win in FP
- A week with no lasers (atmospheric dust)
- A week with only flamers and small lasers
- etc etc etc

Why are you focusing the 8v8 for only the best players surely you should be making it accessible to all with a larger tiering system. =(
WTB MAPS!
City, without open area's.
A Sulfurous Style map.
A caverns/mining tunnels full brawl map where lurms only work in a few caverns the rest is brawwlllll
A Vitric forge style map.

Or use the assets of the other siege mode maps like they did turning Grim Portico into Grim Plexus.
The outside cratered volcanic feel of Vitric Forge could give us another cool moon map like HPG Manifold (Perhaps a landed drop-ship for a meaning full domination mode), Emerald Taiga assets would make a great mixed woods and streams map perhaps a river delta the buildings in ET are quite different too.

2. PGI create more maps.
3. Conduct the R&D to move MWO or the future MW 5 into the realm of Virtual Realtiy.
You can do this PGI. Stop with all of the trivial stuff you are selling to this most loyal community.
