3 nights in a row and clan wait times are >15 minutes.

Gave up at the 30 minute mark tonight.

We had one instant drop pretty much, with a team of 10. After that, we had a team of 12 and the lobby wouldnt even pop (which it should, wierd as ****), we waited for like 10+ mins and gave up.

Logically no one would play IS right now as a Merc anyway.

Skill Tree and new tech means investing time in IS right now is a waste of time... Well thought out PGI.

Haven't dropped tonight, but was insta drops IS side all last night..... about the only reason to be IS it seems!

When I drop in QP solo its like 2 min tops I get a battle.
When I drop in QP group its like 2 min-5 min tops I get a battle.
When I drop FP solo its like 2min-30 min tops I get a battle
When I drop FP group its like 2min-15 min tops I get a drop.

A little trick I learned in SOLO FP drops is to hit the battle button if it don't drop in like 2 min I cancel and re hit the battle button after a few tries I get a drop usually with small groups.

haha all good my friend. I just mean investing a lot of time to "skill tree" IS mechs with the new tech means, potentially - once it all comes out you're gonna have to sit down and address quite a number of builds - then add in balance passes etc.

I just don't have the time to mass-skill out mechs.

For IS I need to have around 20-25 mechs ready for various maps/modes. For Clan I can get away with around 12 mechs kitted. So I did those first for now. (Not that I've played in nearly a week, and probs won't till end of June) - but at the time of working through the maze, IMO, Clan was faster/easier.

Watchu talking bout Willis? It's a great time to be IS. Instadrops, Battlemasters, Grasshoppers, and did I mention instadrops?

Wouldn't know - I dropped on Sat (Fri night US) and it was insta drops for 6hrs as Clan... Outside of that I haven't really done FP mid-week since Skill Tree cause I kinda CBFd

When you solo FP drop you just click it and then go make a sandwich. Start binge watching shows on Netflix on the other monitor or listen to an audiobook. It is surprising how fast you can get through the Wheel of Time novels as you wait for a FP game.

This last weekend was no problem as Clan. 5 min or less. Often instant

Monday night: our 5 man searched for 25 min and gave up when we got queue-jumped by a Clan 12-man
Last night: played 4 or 5 matches. Queues ranging from 5 min to 30 min for each match.

Pretty much this - Monday night our 12-man queued several times and never got a match (10-15 minutes before we gave up) then a few players dropped and we queued as a 10-man and got a match.

Tuesday night the wait times were real (10+ minutes) but we did get 4 matches, generally with wait times between 5-10 minutes.

Wouldn't it be great if PGI had designed their game so that you could use the mechlab or the chat windows while waiting for a match?

P.S. Yes WOT was awesome! Good reads and a great way to burn a little time when you are waiting. I like to go back and re-read them every couple years - used to do a re-read when the release date for the next book was approaching. R.I.P. Robert Jordan.

My favorite series as well. It would be a better show than Game of Thrones...I hope some producer picks it up one day,

Yeah, the production company that owns the license recently produced a short film to try to use a clause in the contract that lets them keep the license if they are actively developing a film/series with it.

Rumors are that a major studio (Sony?) has made an agreement to actually produce a series... should be interesting to see what happens.

Seems like clans are perpetually over populated. I really like my clan mechs, but I think I should just stick to IS contracts until things change.

My unit is discussing and voting on this right now. I feel like we should go IS for now for the insta-queues then move back to Clans when the Civil War stuff drops so that we can get insta-queues from all the folks flocking back to IS to try out the new stuff.

Problem is we have a lot of folks in the unit that want to be IS for the Civil War patch... it's a catch-22.
