All those times I am about to be legitimately killed by one or more parties, but instead I overfire weapons, killing one of them and myself. >.<
Makes me feel both uber and unsportsmanlike at the same time lol.

For context, I'm in Australia and my ping ranges from 170 on Oceanic and 300 on NA so hitting lights is always a change. Today I've been running a streak dog with so many lights around because of the UAV challenge.

-Using macroed AC2 chainfire as a blinding mechanism for suppressive purposes, either as back-up fire to a push, or just in 1vs1 at medium to long range.
-Taking down a fresh but slow Heavy / Assault solo in a Locust, because he got "left behind" or insisted on being on his own for some reason (often busy firing missiles or sniping)
-Legging a medium or light more than 1000m away from combat and just let him be. This one really cracks me up everytime

"Waiter, can I have some moar CHEESE PLEASE?"
*EDIT*
I actually used the "play dead tactic" vs. an Atlas once. I powered down while fighting him in a Locust, and pressed P by accident, when I tried to Override. He just looked at me briefly, like I wasn't even there, and then turned around to fight on.

When I'm on Mining Colony in my LRM Supernova, and I hit someone with LRM70 from 600 meters, and then I see LRM80 flying my way.. from a Supernova..
I was like, yeah.. that's what I just did to you, thanks for making me see how it feels..
And then I move into cover and proceeded to LRM he hell out of that Supernova

I'm not even sorry..

Sadly, the rest of my team got slaughtered, so I ended up being rushed and killed, but not before I scored 2 kills..

Another time, on frozen, I was between two buildings, and watched an enemy Stalker go by... I went up behind it, and popped that one too. That I can simply pop heavies and assaults from behind like that is delightful... and gross too, I guess.

So, I'm doing the UAV challenge where you have to light people up with UAVs.. so I take my 6 ERSL Arctic Cheetah with 2 UAVs equipped, and proceed to drop. We drop on River City - Assault.
So the inevitable snipe-off begins. My guys are sniping the enemy, the enemy is sniping back.. I get bored of this, and since we're on the fortress side, I jump in the water and walk all the way up to the wall of buildings. I pop a UAV. I pop the other one. The whole enemy team is lit up. They don't even see my UAVs..
I'm like, well, I've done what I could.. let's have a little fun. I jump up around into that first ally, and proceed to walk behind the backs of the entire enemy team. Literally meters behind them. I could have stroked them inappropriately if I wanted. All of them. I spend several seconds, taking my sweet time to find a target I wanna butt-****. I see a nice juicy Direwolf with gauss. I approach his rear torso. He ignores me completely, and so does his whole team.
I put two alphas in his back, and kill him in short order. Then I drop back down to the water, feeling satisfied as hell..
We stomped them 12:3..
As the Cheetah in question is completely black, and part of my line of black brawlers I call "Shadow Company", their name was completely justified by this. I assassinated that poor Direwolf, he never had a chance. Never saw me coming. I felt like I was playing Assassin's Creed or something..
P.S.
No, this is not in Tier5, but one of the higher tiers..

On Frozen City I saw a medium mech blip pop up behind me. I made a quickturn snapshot with an AC/20 + SRM22a build and got a oneshot on the Griffon coming up behind me.
The Eww moment;
That Griffon was a friendly mech and was being chased by an enemy Cicada.

I'm on Polar Highlands Domination, in a 2 x LRM15 + 2 x LRM10 + 5 x ERSL Mad Dog, and I'm LRMing this Battlemaster.. So I'm lurminig away, lobing salvo after salvo at him, and off my left side, someone is shooting me with ERLLs.. The damage I'm getting is minor and only annoying, and I'm mostly ignoring it, focusing fully on the Battlemaster..
I kill the Battlemaster, and am like "time for you, oh annoying one, to die!" I turn around, lock the target, which turns out to be a legged Warrant, I fire a single salvo and kill it too..
Never have I had such a "Don't worry, I'll get to you too" moment..
Felt bad for the poor warrant.. since he was scratching me for a good minute, I ignored him completely, and when he finally gets my attention, I basically swatted him away and walked away still yellow..

near end of the match.
2 reds
- crab (with loads of lasers),
- some mech a stick with no ammo/weaponry
vs us - 3 blues.
- hgn iic with mplas + lrms (no ammo left)
- mech with lasers (one unitmate said it was KGC)
- a stick mech with no weaponry/ammo
our laser-mech-KGC finishes off enemy stick/weaponless mech.
our stick gets killed by crab
our KGC overheats and kills himself while trying to finish off enemy crab
last enemy crab over heats and kills himself
we won
this all happened whilst our last dude the Highlander was shooting his medium pulse lasers at the crab from 1200+ meteres away (was spectating him, whole team was yelling at him : "you're out of range mate", "get closer you're not hitting him at all").
I guess your clan lasers can still over heat your target when you are out of range... I guess.
How did we win is beyond me.
Was funny and hurtful at the same time to spectate it from Highlander perspective.

Anyway, we ended up encountering enemy assaults amongst the buildings. I'm in a Shadow Hawk doing recon in force and turn a corner into a totally fresh Atlas-D-DC about 30 meters away. I get first sight so the element of surprise is to my advantage and my large pulse laser and SRMs line up for a shot along the center/left torso because it's the only side I can hit at my current angle. He's turning now as I'm locking to get info, I manage to rip off another salvo. Ducking into cover I announce my target "Atlas-D-DC, Bravo" and list his map coordinate.
My other recon lancemates are just now catching up, I'm hiding behind a building and hoping they get to me in time when I glance up to notice the targeting data on the Atlas I had just alpha-ed. His head armour is stripped and the internal structure is bright red. So foolishly I step around the building, after all who would pass this up? The Atlas knows what I'm coming for and is likely as shocked as I am. It opens up with an AC 20 which I twist and catch on a shield arm, medium lasers graze my torso and I luckily hit my jumpjets just as his ARM salvo goes off, most missing my mech, but a few scattered against the legs as I aim a mid-air alpha towards the cherry red cockpit.
I'm pretty sure the large pulse laser hit at ten meters, and likely one or more of the eighteen SRMs snuck in to vaporize the rest. Most of the Atlas was intact, armour encasing the arms, legs and torso. I winced a little for what that pilot just went through and how lucky I was for the initial shots connecting. Over coms a few seconds later I had a brief chuckle of disbelief as I updated my team "Guys..Atlas down, I just headshot-ed him." Now that's good salvage!

I'm piloting a 2 LRM15 + 6meds Archer on Frozen City Conquest. I'm lurming away, and somehow, completely disregard the fact that I got left behind by my team..
So I see this cheetah noticed my solitude, and I proceed to Lurm him.. he rushes me, but gets my lasers.. then, suddenly, a raven also appears.
So I'm actively attacked by 2 lights, while piloting a heavy.. Normally I die when this happens, but not today.. Today, I fight the both of them, brawling with lasers between the buildings while protecting my rear like a boss.. they manage to take out my torso, but I still got 3 medium lasers, and I manage to kill the raven. The cheeta that's been hounding me half way across the map is missing both arms, and is cherry red.
I'm just about to finish him off when my team wins by capping and HE, the light that wanted to team-light rush a LRM boat, is saved by the bell!
Total role reversal! I SURVIVED being attacked by two lights at once, IN A LRM BOAT.
I was like OMG, I am the MAN! But poor cheetah pilot, he must have been cussing me up the whazoo..

I was pushing an edge I knew to have an LRM boat inside, after watching my team settle in behind cover. I rounded the edge and killed the cat in 2 short bursts, lold to myself and turned to get back tot he team.
Before I had turned around I noticed a whole lance and some lights had charged in behind me during this time, and continued charging down the path where I had just killed the cat.
"Woah, wtf guys, it was one dude, come back." I call, but they ignore me and continue charging at nothing.
"Or just keep going I suppose" I say as enemy team mates rush in behind their tunnel visioned push.

So, my Fiancee is playing, I'm watching.. I helped her build a nice Supernova SNV-A LRM Beast, identical to my own in build (except Hers is pink).. So she lands on Polar Highlands QP.. and proceeds to play.. I'm watching her play, she's having fun lurming away..
And then I spot that some of her missiles are being shot down, and I tell her to target the mech responsible.. it turns out that its an Iron Dome Nova (Nova with 3 x AMS), so I tell her "let's teach that Nova a lesson in Lurm-ing".. she proceeds to dump heavy Lurm rain on the poor Nova which is struggling and fighting a loosing battle..
Sure, it negates about 15 or Her LRM's, but she's dumping LRM70 with 2000+ ammo... it took her 3-4 alphas, but she blew that nova to smithereens..
I'm like "now that's how you LRM boat honey", She's all happy and proud of herself, and I'm guessing the Nova pilot is rethinking his choices..
I feel sorry for him.. I really do..
