they could use the same button as centurions or catapults use for the missile bays, no? i mean since the urbie does not use missiles and therefore does not need the button for this, it should be possible to link it to the lights, maybe with a little nod in the cockpit saying "lights on/off" or something. maybe its even possible to link the horn/siren to that button as well (or at least it would be absolutely awesome and lead to a urbie-week for me )
They don't need to use the Weapon Door toggle button. A quick look at the Game Manual show there's a Cockpit Light toggle button (> to be exact). Considering that there's a small siren light on the dashboard seen in the video, I'd guess that would be tied to the exterior lights and siren

And with his fable for a big gun, isn't he more like Sledge Hammer?

IS players would be forced to take Urbies just to have a hope of competing with the 3xUrbie IIc + KDK 3 meta...
ridicule it all you want, but its a fact that the IIC versions get played way more than their older counterparts. the old ones are only piloted by lunatics like me who either like a bit of nostalgia despite all the disadvantages or like a challenge.

eeh no, i havent. the only IS orion that got played in the last 30 matches i was in was mine, it has been weeks since i saw an IS hunchback and the jenners? not seen one of the IS ones in moths, they could just as well delete them completely - no one would notice.

I would *never* ridicule other IIc versions that would be rendered obsolete by the introduction of the Urbie IIc... no sense in kicking a mech when its down...

also bonus feature- who needs nightvision when you have K-9 police lights to light the way for you (or get you headshotted instantly from 1.5km away)?
I think I may have to start a dairy- "life of a K-9 cop" in honor of this.

You are missing out on one of this game's little joys.
We prefer that our Savior be not debased by such behavior...
Urbie is Life
Urbie is srs bzns!
Urbie will never be useless, blasphemer!
You are so close to Urbielightenment, but you are missing the most important step....
"Urbie is Life"
"Urbie is LOVE"
"Urbie is SRS BZNZ"
So spaketh the Bishop of the Church of Urbielightenment.

You can turn the lights on and that very sound you hear in the video activates at the same time. (default key is L which you can change in settings too)
The sirens sound does not loop continuously forever however, it only loops once upon activation (just like you hear it the first time in the video) once the sound is done it goes silent, but the lights continue flashing until you turn them off by pressing the same key again.
You can turn the lights on and off as often as you want though and it will sound every time they activate.
Also there's that big red flashing button light inside the cockpit when they are on! Example is on 0:51 in the video!
And yes it's my voice, I was inspired by the Need For Speed trailers with their voices on radios but I couldn't stop giggling when we were recording the chase down the street. That speed difference!! Was a lot of fun making this and really happy you guys enjoyed it too!

Looks like I'll be wearing out my "L" button rather quickly...

The two lasers should be in the CT, not the left torso
When will we see the in-game one with it's quirks?

That's it, I'm selling all of my mechs. The K-9 will be the only mech I play from this point forward.
