the irony being it will probably end up with a SN PPC that looks like the long whip barrel ones on the Blackjack :P

Well I sure hope the "snub" portion of the barrel is nearly flush, but I do expect that regular PPC's to stick out some, as well as the LPPC, but of smaller diameter... but hey, that's just me and my logic.

I thought all the structure quirks were supposed to be turned in Armour quirks and this was going to be progressed through all the mechs.

Looking at the quirks it seems to have stalled, when this would have been an ideal time to have completed the project

Now Bishop even talks about "stupidly OP", "uber OP" etc. Gotta mention here that is called hyperbole. Nobody ever said anything along those lines.

Huh...hyperbole? Or.... maybe L2R, since I quoted this.....

Ummh, those Urbie quirks are stupidly op, bearing in mind its size and rotation abilities, under the new skill tree. I know they need sales but just feels like pandering to a very vocal minority.

Hey everyone, just a heads up as this only just came to my attention.

The initially posted Panther Hero Katana Kat had a bug that was providing it a "Turn Rate" enhancement unintentionally. This will not be on the final release of the 'Mech.

Any Battlemech that we wish to provide with any kind of mobility boosts will be provided in the form of higher baseline mobility stats. For the resistance hero's we have done this globally for the Enforcer, and for the King Crab's Torso Turn rate. The only 'Mechs that utilize Mobility enhancements at this point are Omnimech's due the the omnipod system allowing you to trade firepower for more mobility.

We've edited the image in the preview so there is no further confusion. We apologize for the initial error.

Any dev comments on the Urbie geometry change?

That nice rounded and textured ballistic mount was changed to a boring square gunmetal mount. Is this change being applied to all Urbanmechs? Because it's really ugly.

There's a thread dedicated to it here:

and for the King Crab's Torso Turn rate.

That's good news. King Crab needs fast torso twist for viability and for uniqueness.

Remember that the Mech never had torso structure quirks (unlike the Atlas) because he was able to torso twist fast enough (unlike the Atlas).

Engine desync took that away without compensating through structure quirks.

But I'm sure you are aware of that Posted Image

UrbanMech OP, plz arrest this fiend!

The K-9 will be the one I run all my single ballistic builds on. For Massed energy, we do have 3-4 hardpoint versions that still have some energy quirks, and I want to give my quad Light PPCs that extra range/cooldown, whatever that variant has.

Just going to throw this out there, but with the K-9 incoming tomorrow, using the incursion power stations in a cops vs robbers short flick would be very funny.

So if it is Brawl-halla online, why are so many people complaining about Night Gyrs with ER PPC/Guass builds sniping? This is the first I've heard in a while that brawling is a problem...

Furthermore, unless you are dropping in a group, LRMs at 900+ meters are not terribly reliable. If you have a group, you still need people dedicating time to make them viable, especially at that kind of range.

My point is that over 600m the effectiveness of LRMs diminishes significantly in most normal cases so demanding more near-useless range is not really sensible, especially when you are getting all kinds of other skills you could not compound before.

Add on that the insulting of those that want to do more than click on a locked target...

people that mindlessly zombie-like spamming red quarters arent good examples for effective lrm usage.
Its like saying that the headlessly-yolo-banzai-charging-once-in-a-while-present-guy is a good example how brawler mechs (or any other non-lrm build) plays out.
Maybie lrm players shoud take this kind of guy as the prime argument to justify their standpoint why using lrm´s Posted Image
