Last night I saw two members of the CWM unit eject three of their Mechs immediately on dropping, after they screwed up their first wave with a failed attempt to gen rush. I sympathise that it was a hard match from that point, however, abandoning the rest of their unit and the other players was unfair to everyone else in the match.
To see the glass half full, tough matches can be a learning opportunity. And I think we always owe the other players the follow-through on our commitment to a match.

This just makes bad matches worse for everyone who had the guts to stick it out and try.
Poor matches are the result of poor mode design, not something you should acknowledge by adding in an abusable 'GTFO' button.

To hard.
Takes to long.
Don't have time to commit to some militarized Unit.
Don't have time to drop everyday.
Stupid to have to use outside app to comms.
To hard to find Groups.
Need more chat rooms to make it easier.
Or any one of thousands of excuses used to not have to take initiative, be motivated, make any effort, or any personal responsibility for gameplay.

Farmers are already cherry picking games. They have everybody on their friend list and know which units drop and when. And they never face each other, you didn't know about this? They only play to farm, never to face each other. Many groups even sub-coordinate drop times by in-game chat/TS. It's a golden rule of CW and MWO.

As an example:
The winning team has a 24 mech kill lead or 8 out of 12 pilots on the losing team must be perma dead before a vote can be triggered. If a vote fails all pilots on the losing side are still expected to play it out.
Again it would have to be done carefully or not at all.

I've played in a grand total of two 48-0 matches. They are beyond rare.
Next up, making a "forfeit" button for users who bring bad builds like a UAC20 Summoner you run? No... No forfeit button for play like that. If bad builds were not brought in the first place, there would be less of a need for this.
Address the problem, not a band-aid style fix (Which PGI will never get right anyway)

Says guy who brings 5x Large Laser Battlemaster to Tourmaline Desert, gets killed by Summoner and then starts five discussions about it in five separate forum threads all same time.

I've never run a 5LL Battlemaster.
Nice try.

I run a 5LPL or a 6ERL BLR - Always have... As do most half decent players that can manage heat properly.
The only reason you want a fold button is so that when you bring your crappy builds and when the inevitable steamroll happens - You can bail on a match early.
That is not a solution to the problem which is players bringing junk builds and players refusing to work as a team.
