ER Laser (Extended Range Laser)
Category: Energy Weapons

ER lasers feature a considerable increase in range over standard Lasers but require a longer time to deal their maximum damage.

There are seven kinds of ER Lasers:
ER Small Laser (ER SL)
ER Medium Laser (ER ML)
ER Large Laser (ER LL)

Clan ER Small Laser (cERSL)
Clan ER Medium Laser (cERML)

Gauss Rifles use powerful electromagnets to hurl projectiles incredible distances, similiar to early rail guns. Gauss rifles require the pilot to actively charge it before each volley due to its exorbitant consumption of electrical power. While Gauss ammunition can't explode, the weapon itself can!
