Just confirmed that Light PPCs share ghost heat group with regular PPCs. Yet another DoA weapon.

Uhh? 5 damage 360m range, 0.9s duration, 4.5 heat
vs 7 damage, 405m range, 1.25s duration, 6 heat

Yeah no; beyond 480 meters range they have worse damage/ton efficiency than Clan LRMs (not even including them having worse ammo damage/ton efficiency at that range either).

They only beat Clan LRMs in the 180 to 480 meter range band, which gives them such an incredibly small niche that nobody with any sense will bother using them.

ER Micro and Micro Pulse Lasers have ghost heat limits of 6.

IS UAC10 has a ghost heat limit as least as high as 3; I was able to fire three at once without triggering ghost heat.

They also do splash damage I believe, which is not included in their damage value.

Like how Clan ER PPCs say they do 10 dmg, but also do 2.5 to each adjacent section, to a total of 15 damage.

So, ATMs are here and there are a couple major issues with them.

- 180 min range? really?. That is not how ATMs work PGI!
- close to nothing ammo per ton
- they out perform LRMs at long range

Do this:

- reduce max range of ATMs
- remove min range of ATMs
- significantly buff LRM velocity
- Reduce LRM spread!

The value of guns is a joke. Sincerely, I have little commitment in this task, I hope that in the game it will not be worse for version 1º. PPC speeds and even bad. For you smaller quicker this is wrong. AC and this in the same distance the smaller the greater the speed, I would like to see a little reality in the game. Another AMS laser heat 4 !!! Even SRM6 ??? Os valor das armas são uma piada. Sinceramente a pouco empenho nesta tarefa espero que no jogo não esteja pior para a versão 1º. As velocidades do PPC e mesmo mau. Para vos mais pequeno mais rápido isso e errado. AC e esta na mesma a distancia mais pequeno maior a velocidade, eu gostava de ver um pouco de realidade no jogo. Outra AMS laser heat 4!!! Mesmo SRM6??? Joke. Pensem nisso.

2 slot (IS) L-AMS are canon, so it's likely just a typo.

IS u-AC need to have their ammo adjusted for shots per ton (like clan u-ACs do)...example AC10 has 20 shots per ton ISuAC10 seems only have the equivalent of 7 shots per ton

I mean, are you serious??? Have you ever tried to shoot them PGI???
Clan ERLL was useless for ages with 1,5s duration and still borderline useless with 1,35s now, but at least it has some range.

1,35s face time with HSL at 100m range is insane or rather suicidal. 1,6 at 270for HML is more or less the same. You won't hit anything and will get a bunch of SRMs in da face instead. Is there a facepalm smile somewhere around here?

RAC's , crap .. to hot ..to heavy ..to quik to jam.

Cant boat them, not usfull on there own. Slow to spin up, cant sustain, cant build a DPS build around them due to heat.

Im not sure where ur trying to place them, but they fail at everything atm.

They cant be used as alpha weapons, they cant be used as sustain weapons, they cant be used as DPS weapons,

i stuck 6 RAC2's on a KGC, overheated within a couple seconds.
My 6 normal AC2's are waaaay better. and that just isnt right.

You need to lower the heat drasticaly for them to be of any use, forget worrying about the jaming when u try to boat them, u cant even fire them without overheating. And thats IF u can sort out enough weight to fit them, 2 tons heavier than normal AC2's ..damn.

I had such hopes for RAC's .. was soo hoping to rid myself of FireControl using AC2's ,and switch to RAC's and there natural rapid fire

Because even though this isn't the tabletop game they do use the TT weapon values. They will probably 'tweak' it later on like they did with most of the current weapons in use.

Really love the sound of the IS RAC & UAC <3 do not change them please. Also the Sound of the snub nose and Heavy PPc and the Heavy Gaus rifle are cool. Cool Screen shake effect when firing the Heavy Gaus +1

It's the PTS. Of course it's half-baked.

Not that there isn't a lot here I think is stale before it came out of the oven, but that's not a fair gripe. If it was on Live, though...
