wtf are you talking about? slender siluette - a 100t mech? one who is known for its belly? you are the worst troll i ever encountered in this forum, and thats saying a lot.
Not trolling at all.
Biggest problem with slow assaults is they are easy to hit and thus often an easyer kill than most mediums.
Annihilator with its super slow pace but canonicaly curved upper superstructure (not interested in the leggs since there are no weapons and no need to expose them) would have been a prime oportunity to show some love for IS and bring an IS Assault with less gimpy hitboxes than Atlas, Banshee, Zeus etc.
Instead they made the shoulder activator housings blocky and large increasing its frontal silhuette, Arms hang straight down and are blocky instead of round additionaly enlarging its silhuette and giving less oportunity to miss by shooting between arms and torso (spreadfire weapons, LRM, SRM, MRM, LBX)
Additionally the long upper arms make the arm mounts hang low.... much too low.
Since there still is no possibility to elevate the arms on humanoid mechs (wich could be made easily possible by a similar mechanic like the opening of Missile bay doors, push "-" arms elevate and lets say speed is reduced by 30% as long as arms are elevated) this is a crippling downside of this iteration of the Anhilator.
As you can see the arms would be on level or even above the torso lasers and AC when lifted in combat position.
And not on hiplevel like the ingame footage below.
Next thing is the broad cobra like neck of the PGI iteration.
I effin hope this isn't the CT.
Point of the Annihilator is to act from a fortified position as portable turret emplacement.
So leggs and the whole lower portion of the mechs would be hidden most of the time but the upper streamlined body would be exposed (hitbox advantages like MAD-IIC or the good old Stalker)
But with those blocky shoulders and thick neck and low hanging arm weapons (has now to expose his whole body to fire) this mech will be slow and easy to hit.

ah, i see your points now. sry for calling you a troll before, seems we talked in different directions there.
the arms may be like that because thats just the way humanoid looking IS mechs are build. there are a few details that are not correct on many mechs and i dont know why. Maybe technical issues or something? at least those big arms help a bit better in shielding if all your UACs jam than the small ones would.

and knowing most Clanners i've run into, RACs and MRMs are going to MURDER them. not sure what it is with Clan pilots and standing in the open to fire, specifically the Kodis. them, and everyone who uses ECM... it's like those guys think ECM = "No one can see me!" ...because, you know, it's not totally like they're in a 30 to 60-foot tall Robotic War Machine that stands out like a sore thumb to the naked eye or anything.

BloodAdder looks really cool. Is it intended that the Collectors Cougar camo is missing?
Belial is stunning! Collectors Uziel is a bit disappointing after the concept for it was really really good. I am glad I didn't just buy it right away.
MKII looks pretty good, although i am not a big fan of mechs with lipsticks.
In general the models are all very nicely done.
