DONE!

Heavies had nothing below a 4, because even the worst Heavy is better than the worst Light/Medium/Assault, IMO Re-submitted with 50% less DERP!

Thanks again for doing this!

Submitted mine. And judging from the responses, people seem to underestimate the potency of the Supernova.
If only Boiler, with its PPFLD config was more used.

The SNV-1 is more interesting to me than the Boiler. TBH, I like the MAD-IIC-C more than the Boiler.

Do you want us to rate each one in a stack, i.e. no two 'Mechs can have the same rating? Or are we free to rate them as we see fit within the context of the best is 10 and the worst is 1?

You know, even though I did this last year, and I *knew* I had to rate 1-10, I still didn't...

I need to start drinking again...

Not really
hellbringer is steaming pile of underarmed ****, how it landed only 0.2 points below warhammer, 0.4 above grasshopper and 0.2 above timber wolf is beyond me..

and mauler is still best is assault while battlemaster just cant brawl effectively anymore(thats why i see nothing but 5ll variants) so why not go with srm cyclops or as7s and as weapons platform, well 4 uac5 mauler...

The issue is that you can rate mechs you don't own or have never piloted so in those cases you go by observational data rather than first hand experience and everyone just knows that the Clans are OP so even without really knowing, they rated them OP.

Well, I did ask the big question at the end, so... we can see if this is true. Posted Image

Could you answer my question above, please?

I rated top and bottom as 10 and 1, as requested, but I wasn't sure what you wanted us to do with everything in between.

Edit: I guess in hindsight it has to be relative, since there are more than 10 chassis per class.

You know, I never understood why people think the Night Gyr's so good. I always viewed it as slow, bloated trash, because that's both what it feels like fighting it and fighting in it. So the fact that they have the highest heavy score at the time of this post is surprising.

It can do PPFLD real well, and PPFLD is king. And having 6xUAC2s on a 75 ton mech is surprisingly good.

I dunno, I've seal clubbed PPFLD Night Gyr's enough to say that one going PPFLD doesn't really scare me too much. Probably because by the time that they tend to see me and shoot at me, it's normally when I'm already point blank and firing as fast as my guns can cycle, while they are struggling to keep up in the damage output department or run away.

(That's probably one of the main things I hate about PPFLD; While it's certainly effective, the drawbacks of vulnerability to being pushed by someone who's a competent brawler or skirmisher with faster recharging weaponry make it just seem vastly less attractive option.)

I did forget about the 6X UAC2 build, I ran that for a while and recall it as being hilarious and decent. But I don't see that anymore either.

You think any of the mechs are gonna change from the PPC/Gauss ghost heat debacle?

i think gyrs are... ok. like 6-7. the surprising one for me is the kdk. that chassis has been nerfed to crap and still people score it like a 8(?). almost spat my beer our what i saw it.
