What are you talking about? they just got the buff everyone was asking for... they might actually be a good investment/reward now.

Huh?

They buffed them!

Now they do full 15 damage to a single panel.

My only question: did the buff ATM health? They buffed velocity, which is good, as AMS utterly ruined ATM's on the test server, but if they didn't buff ATM health, they're still going to be very unreliable.

I dislike this ghost heat ... this is the only mechwarrior that does not use gauss ppc boat!

Dear PGI

Now that PPC & Gauss are being nerfed as a combo, and I'm not against that btw as if this mild 'breaking of the rules' for weapons wasn't created, the individual weapons would have to be nerfed... I get that...

How will mechs that were using the PPC / Gauss combo for it's absurd strength be viewed in light of this change?
Will the Night Gyr remain a floating turret, or could some of its agility be returned as the offending combo is now greatly reduced for effectiveness?

Ah yes, I was not thinking straight, Heavy PPCs are supposed to be 15 damage. I assume it is 15 pinpoint, since in MWO Clan ERPPCs do "splash damage".

I am very sure that ingame the Gauss/PPC heat penalty nerf will be much less intense as some might think or hope for. The players will simply drop one of the two PPCs (as in the past) and still be effective as hell.

I'm mildly concerned about the ATM damage number. I only see two range brackets and I REALLY hope that doesn't mean the 3 damage bracket got removed. I don't think that'd be the case, but with the minimum range being added as a PGI built in nerf I can believe that it is a possibility.

Laser AMS way too heavy to be any good only bonus no ammo explosion but you are going to have to turn it off now and again because the heat will cook you. Can't see anything game breaking, if anything gets too good I am sure PGI will just nerf it until something gets better then it, then nerf that thing and so it goes on

So you managed to "buff" C-MPLs by reducing their DPH, DPS, and alpha?

I, huh, wow, I'm honestly amazed at how stupid that change is. Unless you intentionally nerfed an underperforming weapon for some reason?

ML+MPL boating was nerfed because... The Top Dog and BJ-1X were overperforming, I guess?

Also, wow, congratulations, managed to completely kill off Gauss+PPC PPFLD altogether, which already was "average" at best. Reducing variety for no reason, now THAT is what we needed.

I'd like to see ATMs not use Artemis. Reason is, Artemis is already built into the missile and doesn't need external Artemis Fire Control System to help it. Please, fix this!

Now that Clan Nova Cat and Steel Viper are out, the Nova Cat Alpha Galaxy scheme needs to be a thing with the Steel Viper's Beta Galaxy.

I do look forward to seeing a Nova Cat and Steel Viper Hub with a Discord or Teamspeak channel.

I thought they said that they fixed this? MRMs can't use Artemis.
