Gotta say, new players are very lucky to have Koniving, Tesunie (not in this thread yet) and Rogue Jedi around to provide help. They are there, each time, every time, and what's more, they actually know what they are talking about.
we usualy know what we are talking about, we are all wrong occaisionaly
(admitidly usualy because we missed something which has recently been updated)

I will be leaving the clan today, I saw that there is a hit if you leave which is fine, as I don't think I will be doing much of that just yet as I don't have the mechs, skills and know how of everything yet..I had just looked at the big map...and that was very scary just to say the least of the hundreds? of planets and the fact that looks like the clanners are getting pushed back? and the Inner Sphere is winning the war? I would like to join your unit Jedi, if possible.
it goes through phases, while many say it is because 1 has an advantage over the other my opinion is it is usualy when the bulk of the "elite" units in faction play end up on one side that the borders change significantly.
on paper Clan tech is better, it is usualy 2 of the following, lighter, does more damage per shot, longer range.
This is balenced by making Clan Tech hotter and longer duration.
I think balence is pretty close right now but that is likely to change with all the new weapons and equipment coming later today.

if you want to join the Praetorian Legion first I sugest reading the
PL code (of conduct) to make sure that is acceptable to you, then visiting the
Recrutment page and if you are still interested fill in an application.
if you send me a PM on the MWO forums when you have put in the application I am pretty sure I can approve the application
(if it turns out I cannot I will message someone who I know can and ask them to put it through ASAP) then we can get you on teamspeak so you can start dropping with other members.
We do require people to finish training before sending them an ingame unit invite, mostly due to the 50,000 cbills for each current member recruitment fee
(meaning 5 million cbills to invite someone if you already have have 100 members and I think we are at about 100 at current) and with you currently a Wolf Loyest who has not yet left it would be a week before you could accept an ingame invite anyway.
