Could this be one of the most exciting things which was given to the IS so far?

Could it put the hammer back in Warhammer (it's already pretty hammer-y tough)?

Post your 'Mech builds with this piece of new IS tech!

Playing with smurphy, the Warhammer can do a bit more: 2HPPC+3ML LFE325 17DHS WHM-6R

Mmm, would it be not too dangerous putting an XL on a still slowish medium ranged KGC build?

What has long legs and sturdy shoulders? Grasshoppers:

2HPPC+5ERSL
2HPPC+4ERML

My GHR-5H had been languishing for a while, since two shoulder-mounted PPCs didn't really compare to some of the laser shennanigans that the GHR-5P could pull off. Now that it's basically got energy-based Gauss rifles, though, it's time dust it off and give it a whirl again.

Remember the poor Vindicator-1X?

Bolt and BRRRRRT.

(For an entire newtech makeover, replace the ML with an ERML.)

I think I'd just drop the single head ML and put max number of JJs and the biggest engine.

This BJ-3.

You can run it with an LFE by just dropping the two Meds down to Small and playing around with LFF, but I'm always dying to CT so I figured I might as well go XL.

Luminis can't into Smurfy right now, but...

I run a HPPC on my MAD-3R. With a Gauss Rifle in the ST. And three ERMLs as backup. With an LFE300, dunno about the number of DHS. But it runs cooler than expected an 30 PPFLD at just under 600m is sweet and, since the PPC / Gauss GH change, can hang with the best - sort of. Didn't have a lot of time to actually test it thoroughly, though.

2 HPPC, 1 SNUB, TCMKII AWS-8Q

The humble Awesome can do well with them. With it's energy and universal PPC quirks, and some finagling with the skill tree, you can get the heat down to 10 for each HPPC, and 7 for the Snub.

You still have the whole Awesome issue to worry about though, with it's critical weakness; being shot at.
