Even on wins I'll end up getting losing out on the event. One of those 6 wins was a case where on the first drop we destroyed all three generators and opened up Omega. As I was in a light I was able to sneak in, jump onto Omega and get it down to 50% before the enemy even realized I was there! During the next drop we finished it off before I was able to waddle my assault drop to the front lines.
Because generators and Omega result in no damage and because game mode goals result in nearly no reward even though we won, and I was critical in that win, I got a match score of 60 because according to my stats I "did nothing" the whole game. So playing the game mode instead of farming damage is an extremely efficient way of not qualifying for these poorly designed events.

Yeah. 6 matches for me as IS only won 1 of them and never had above the required 150 score. To much of a time sink at that rate you are FAR BETTER OFF farming 10 million C-Bills via Quick Match in less time than would be required most likely to earn it in this war chest event.

You can't snap your fingers and make yourself a better pilot, but coordinated teams win FW much more often than pugs do. You'll see players on either Clans or IS saying they can't win at FW, which tells me that they're probably struggling with random pugs or *at best* a small group.

Give small units a reason to play. Right now the large marauding merc units playing soldier of fortune for whatever faction has the upper hand in the meta are not what I would imagine faction warfare to be.
This chunk which I've quoted from you? I COMPLETELY AGREE! There has constantly been a lack of rewarding from Faction Warfare's normal mechanics. With the way PGI has tightened up the Faction Warfare Achievement Sets, there needs to be something to drive people who aren't in Big Units. Some just can't get anything because they're stuck in situations where they have to 'Lone Wolf' their existence. If PGI did what you suggest here, it would more than likely revive Faction Warfare.

Anyone who doesn't realize this probably has their blinders pulled down too tight. PGI didn't give enough time on the PTS for the New "Civil War Tech" to be properly evaluated. This really ticks me off because my Real Life situation makes it so that I would need a Month-long type of PTS session to have a chance of getting in and checking it out to provide feedback.

Not everyone will be. It's a rather big commitment to find one you like and then purchase it.
Which brings me to...

Differences in Tonnage & Mech Type cause the price of the TBR-WAR (75 Tons, OmniMech) to be more costly than the RGH-R (65 Tons, BattleMech)... The bigger they are, the more expensive they are. Weigh carefully if you have the (MC) that you really wish to spend on an item like that.

I know that I'm not having as much fun as an Event like this should be. Being at a 25-ton disadvantage (240-Ton Limit) in the Clans, while fighting against the Inner Sphere and their Larger (265 Tons) Limit, plus with the emergence of the "New 'Civil War'-era Tech" and the boost it gives to the Inner Sphere, brings everything to wondering why PGI hasn't boosted the Clans back up to the STANDARD 250-Ton Limit already in order to keep the playing field equal. Maybe we're seeing some severe "Anti-Clans Sentiment" from PGI here?

I wondered about this myself. The best that I can figure is that PGI just couldn't come up with a good metric for connecting the Scouting Game Mode of Faction Warfare with this Event. Frankly, if they just made '25 Match Score' enough to qualify for those actually performing the objective, then Scouting would easily fit in.
Which brings me to this post, one I should have realized was worth replying to...

kylania, Good Catch!!! This shows right here that, even though PGI wants people to perform the Objective(s), they do NOT properly reward for it. They're going to need to add a properly reasonable Bonus of some kind (preferably in Match Score) for actually performing the Objective(s), if they want to put the right touch on Faction Warfare's Siege Game Mode, as well as make that properly compatible with Events and the Matches that ensue from them.
...and now that I've done that... well... BACK TO THE BATTLEFIELDS!!!

Wait, you're telling me that you weren't highly rewarded for Gen Rushing? Gee, what a shame.
