Though based on how many threads there are about it, it sounds like the community would be most appeased if the Urbanmech was the next confirmed design.

and a Thunderbolt
and i would much prefer an Archer over the catapult..it is a far superior fire support mech.
note - the K varients are by far the superior choice.

If they're gonna show off an Archer, show off something that can use its secondary weapons without massive overheat, like say the -S variant.

well..first the secondary weps are there for use after a target gets too close.
us dracs for one aint afraid of a lil heat and would much rather fire a pair of LL one at a time then add EVEN MORE ammo to a mek pre-CASE.
i guess steiner pilots prefer to increase risk of ammo explosion then possibly ruin their perms.

OR
They'll release another medium or heavy brawler mech to show everyone it's not going to be all about the Assault (you know, in case they didn't make it clear enough already).

One ton of that ammo is going to be inferno rounds. Poooooor little hot running -K variant. Beyond that, the fluff has Steiner pilots shaving part of their heads to cope with tight fitting hats; you can't perm only part of your head. We're all about the style in Steiner town.

Anyway following the 'Mechs they've released so far it seems to me that they are going with the 'Mech list from all the BattleTech Boxed Sets since the 4th Edition: namely the Commando, Spider, Jenner, Panther, Assassin, Cicada, Clint, Hermes II, Whitworth, Vindicator, Enforcer, Hunchback, Trebuchet, Dervish, Dragon, Quickdraw, Catapult, JagerMech, Grasshopper, Awesome, Zeus, Cyclops, Banshee, & Atlas. Of course with only 4 'Mechs out its really far to early to say.

Quite possibly the stupidest mech design I have ever had to use!
If you don't know what it is, 80 tons with 5 small lasers 5/8/0

I think the lack of physical melee combat really puts a damper on the Axeman purpose. Ya know? Too bad too cause it really is kind of a cool mech with an "Against the Grain" approach to combat.

And ok...I'll toss my votes in for the adds:
Light: Locust
Medium: Shadowhawk
Heavy: Warhammer
Assault: Zeus
