Looks interesting. Omnimech for IS with ECM and possibly Stealth Armor could work even with huge Side Torsos. Light Engine maybe. Posted Image

Not an Omni.
Never was. Except in Mech4 and people say PGI pisses on the lore

Then it has not been used in the video. Believe me i double checked. 360° was pretty much real in MW4 MekTek, for Thanny amd Thanny XT.

I put up a < 2 Min video here: https://youtu.be/Nib4w0STcpM

Sry for the quality, didn't want to dig that deep into MW4 streaming :-)

MeKTeK produced mods for MW4, 360 degree torso twist was not in the unmodified versions of the game.

The Omni variants could have been the original prototypes, but they would be incredibly rare.

What happened to 30-days Premium Time with pre-purchase of a 'Mech? Didn't PGI announce the return of it a month or two ago?

Because realizing you are regularly selling something (premium time) for less than the store price and ceasing to do so is a gip?
How is that cheating?

Cheating? didn't use that word. PGI used to give us Prem Time with new Mechs, now they don't. I'm not crazy about it. End of story.

My Tempest has just been obsoleted.

;-(

But I wish that PGI will just allow us to choose which variants to make the pack of three

I have many times decided not to buy the pre order as the variants I really wanted (aka missile) are in the add ons rather than the original pack.

Try again

Edit:
And your being upset about it is infantile for the reasons I already listed.
But then, we already established your painful lack of basic education.
You only make yourself look stupid when you use words without knowing what they mean.

I'm not entirely sure why folks are talking about this mech overriding all other IS heavies. The Thanatos is basically an Archer... except with 5 more tons, ECM, jump jets and a better mix of hard points... Yet it's still basically an Archer with those suicidal hitboxes.

Its an Orion with ECM and Jump Jets, and better located ballistic hardpoints.

What are you talking about? Thanatos comes with 30 days premium and collectors comes with 60.

Where I live, gyp is generally used to indicate poor value/feeling ripped off/getting a bad deal.

"Only two slices of ham (on my sandwich)? What a gyp!"

So cheated in a sense, though I feel cheated is too strong a word for how I hear it used.

[Edit] Oh! It's also used to indicate pain/discomfort.

"My knee is really giving me some gyp today." [/Edit]

Ah ok. I knew that the XT was MekTek only. That 360° had been implemented there was new to me. I played MP 3.1 for so long i can't remember stock MW4 Mercs. But the mechpacks were quite popular, so i thought the question would be reasonable.

it's also a Racial slur against the Romy people of Europe.

yeah, but MekTek stuff is extremely-non-canon. though two of their mechs did become canon simply by popularity, the Arctic Wolf's variants, and that clan Snow Raven assault mech with triple ballistic arms, the Deimos

It's there... and it was on the page yesterday, before your post so this isn't a PGI stealth correction:

Posted Image

The only complaint one can lodge at this point is that its not "banked", but otherwise it is consistent with recent mech pack offerings.

Look at sarna... lore suggest its an IS omnimech

Actually you look at SARNA it is not an Omnimech.
"When they finished development of the Thanatos as an OmniMech neither the LAAF or the AFFS was interested in obtaining any new OmniMech designs. The Thanatos was then converted into a standard BattleMech and resubmitted to the two militaries who gladly added it to their arsenals."

Now we just need the C3 Computer....

You mean we need the piece of equipment that allows sharing of radar and target information... which we actually have inbuild?

Ooooooooooooooh the weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth in pug drops if they actually introduced C3 computers and took away our default intel sharing!

Can you imagine the salt from pugs that alreay cry for locks, now expecting us to bring C3 computers?

For the record, if they did do this, then balancing teams would be all the more tricky since most good groups can pretty much get by without C3 by using comms and direct fire weaps.

It wouldn't just be difficult, it'd be effectively impossible to balance properly.

Remember, the C3 was for a TT game that got its start before we figured out that computers don't need fill a warehouse to be able to play a video. (1986) Even that recently, they thought a computer that could do what our phones do now, would be sitting on our desks and cost tens of thousands for the cheap ones. C3 equivalent functionality can be taken care of by a $50 piece of hardware TODAY, and we're talking about a culture that can build lasers and hyperspace engines.
