Saw a guy with 6 tag and one medium laser on a GHR. I reported him, as did most of our team.

Just got my kid into playing MWO now that he is home from the Navy. He is great at video games and getting gud fast but he still is (not really that good)in the trash tiers and rising faster than I did. I was watching a game he was playing recently and giving advise. It amounted to watching a bunch of really bad builds, heat management and positioning play out till its underwhelming conclusion.
While watching the match after he went to the big mech bay in the sky, we watched a truly amazing battle. This battle featured a Zeus-9s, 2 LL (and that's all), I am guessing a big standard engine and a metric ton of double heat sinks. Fairly fast Zeus, never had a heat issue, couldn't hit squat with his (OMG) 2 large lasers and only came out of hiding to fight the whole opposing team (still at 7 mechs) when they cornered him.
It was so bad that I was LMAO watching it.

Also, doing 22 damage in a match can happen to anyone.. all it takes it to be dropped in a far-off drop zone, and get left behind by your team.. if you are slow, you can get overrun by lights and its not a happy ending.. I once dropped a dakka KDK-3 to Polar Highlands, and 3-4 minutes in, I saw no enemy, but did see the enemy's LRMs blot out the sun.. and game over.. zero damage..

Arms are ERML
Ballistics mount is a UAC10
AMS
XL 280? I think is what I had. But I do pretty good with it heatsinks and ammo to taste.

I have a Bushwacker with (5) LRM5's and a Snubby PPC. I used that to track the effing LRM boats and keep them ducking. That allowed the rest of the team to get close enough to tear through their firing line and go CQB. Nothing like a steady stream of LRM5's to keep you ducking.
Yes, I know LRM5's aren't DPS monsters....but their accurate and distracting enough till I can start taking PPC shots...and just to make it the cherry on top...locust ran up like he was gonna face tank me (I guess he thought "LRM boat wuss") and I 2 shotted him....laughed at that...

That's true for most weapons if you only go 1 over, it's only really bad for the AC/20, large laser and PPC variants and for the latter two only because the heat is so high to begin with.
