And four at the 45 ton size between the blackjacks, vindicators and pixies already. Clans are getting the 40 ton arctic wolf in a couple months.

Hey PGI, I noticed how the Hero has more missile and energy hardpoints than any other variant.

I remember when you avoided making P2W Heroes on principle. It was something I admired about you.

Honestly? Not sure why you guys went and released this one over the myriad of more popular options. The Hellspawn isn't exactly the best mech, gameplay wise or popularity wise. It was **** in MW4, which is the only game it's ever been in, to the point where I think most people kept running lighter chassis until they got at least an Uziel or Bushwacker. I know I did. The only real advantage this thing will have is that its CT hitbox, if done right, will be next to nothing. But its STs will make up 90% of the torso profile. And since it's a 45 tonner that relies on speed, it's going to need an XL. And if people think the Uziel is XL unfriendly, this thing is going to be even worse.

Also, how the hell is that missile hardpoint on the arm going to work? It's shoulder-mounted, and has no visible means of turning. Is it going to track with the arms somehow? Will that be animated, or is it just gonna be done via magic?

Yeah, this is pretty bad...

9F, 7P & 8P - 7 weapon hardpoints
7D, 8E - 6 weapon hardpoints & ECM - fair trade
7D2 - 8 weapon hardpoints & ECM - WAIT, WHAT?!

Maybe it has a lower engine cap? Nope.
Maybe it lacks AMS? Nope.
Less JJs? Nope.

Come on PGI, at least try not to make the Hero 'mech blatantly more powerful than everything.

The Special camo is nice, but I can safely skip yet another IS 'mech pack.

Here's hoping the Clan offerings are more impressive...

Not another dime until I see 8v8 play test up. Been two weeks and nada. Beginning to think it was a ploy to generate revenue.

Everything is a ploy to create revenue. Are you so blind that you don't realize this?! PGI doesn't care about making a quality game. Only about stealing every last cent from your bank accounts.

Yeah that's the 8th medium. Clan only has 7 right now.

I keep hoping for another Clan 55 tonner at some point before another game inevitably supersedes this aging one. Combine the 55 and 60 tonners, and Clan still has just two mechs total, while IS has 8. It's like PGI is specifically withholding mechs that Clan could use to make better drop decks involving an assault mech,

I called this one. I said it'd be the Hellspawn, and it looks like I was right about my intuition. Besides that, it's only natural that we get it since the Uziel, Thanatos and Hellspawn all came out when MechWarrior 4 held our sway.

I did enough funding for this game, yet the returns are LESS than MARGINAL .
