I've increased the last three months weight to 7 as well as adjusted the score falloff curve to start giving full points around 500 games.
This will help give current performance more impact to your score as well as lower some players who have not played many games each season.

Usually units would look at all of your stats but as for what I would say as a general number while working on the database, 5000 and up seem to be good players.

Damn it.
Are you like 5001?
Edit:
Question - is there any way to see Clan/IS mech split from the stats? Because I'm guessing that the majority of the better players favour clan mechs and it would be nice to be proved wrong.
Also, FW/QP split.

No.
...2132.
I can't complain about being in Tier 1 anymore without looking like a dirty seal clubing wannabe, and people are actually going to expect stuff from me now. I know that sounds a bit self-congratulatory, but I was quite comfortable being barely decent, actually.

You never do. You are always potato. We are all potato. I am potato for lul builds and loltiming. JagerXII is potato for bringing a Timberwolf popatart to Worlds in 2017. Kaffe is potato for meat-shielding with his team mates even in comp drops. Burya is potato because "WTF is lifting on the W key?"
Always potato.

The leaderboard data that this is based on is QP only. There is no FP data in this afaik,
Also I tend to play both IS and Clan, I have roughly equal mix of the two. Season 15 I played a lot of MRM IS mechs (Fully skilled out a roughneck) Laser Vom Clan + Death Strike and of course the ballistic event for both IS and CLan. Check my rank and make of that what you will.

Question: what exactly does the progress stat measure? What exactly does my 28% progress mean?

How much 'better' you did in the most recent season than before, compared to the 'average' progress of everyone. I believe it goes from -50% (Infinite decrease in performance) to +50% (Infinite improvement).

Almost got it correct. At the bottom of each page I pasted the details on commonly asked questions:
Quote
Technically it could go infinite in both directions. This is the code used to generate progress:
set $TotalsTable.`Season Performance` = ROUND(($season.`Average Match Score` / NULLIF($TotalsTable.`Average Match Score`,0) * 100) - 100)
If there is a blank next to progress that means that you didn't have enough rounds this season to be published (minimum of 10 games).

I can't get mechs used as it is not published by PGI. Same with FW stats. The leaderboard is based solely on QP data. If PGI started publishing FW data it could easily be incorporated into the leaderboard database.

($Season^1.8)*(-(1.01^(-$GamesPlayed)-1))
This will give an exponential growth for new season weights.
This means the seasons closest to the current season will have a larger impact on your score.
The change is now live and the leaderboard is updated.

Percentile rank will only be available through player search and player comparisons.
Due to inflated bad stat numbers being a free to play game, I set the percentile ranking to require a minimum of 100 games before then ranking you by adjusted score. Your rank number however includes all players. Only percentile rank requires 100 matches minimum.
Enjoy!
