It kind of pains me to see I bought the 4 bundles of this year (as I did the last time) and they still only count for the basic reward :c

Uhh... The urbie is a reward for buying steam packs OR mc.

I meant the following: let's count bought packs as actual purchases, not just MCs refills, they are purchased for real currency.

So I bought one collectors pack, one hero upgrade, one standalone hero and one reinforcement upgrade - do those combine to count? (According to the page, no)
Can I go back and upgrade a standard pack to collector and have it count? (I'm sure, yes)
What if the pack was purchased before Oct 18th 2016?

As far as I can tell, you have to go all the way on either option and cannot mix one Collector's Pack with hero/reinforcement/standalone hero purchases.

Edit: There's been no official word on whether you have to purchase all portions of the Collector's Pack during the time frame or if you just have to 'reach' Collector's Pack status during the time frame.

At least for the Clan side, you can get the top tier reward for $65 instead of $80 if you snag the 5 Light heroes available (Jenner IIC, Cheetah, Lynx, Adder and Kit Fox) and any one of the Mediums.

IS only has the one batch of Resistance standalone heroes, so your cheapest option would be all 3 Lights, both Mediums and one Heavy, which still hits $80 if you have none of them. If you have none of them nor any collector packs, it all depends on which mechs you'd rather have.

I don't really need that much of lights and i already have standard pack of MAD IIC and Kodiak, so i'd just need to upgrade them, but i don't think it/the game is worth the money, because Kodiaks get very fast cored. I'd rather buy Divinity Original Sins 2 for this money.

Just wondering though, do the Scottish Bagpipe warhorns play "Amazing Grace" or "Scotland the brave"?

Just looked on Sarna and the Griffin-5M is supposed to have a light Engine, not an XL. Oh well, at least the XL is worth more C-Bills.

Sarna has the 5M listed with an extralight (XL) engine.

While I appreciate the change, it's still very excessive.
6 Hero's is pretty high, but making it ALL collector, or ALL hero isn't good - it still doesn't recognize people that buy a lot.

I would suggest making 3 Hero's = 1 Collectors if you're going that way, so you can mix and match 1 collector + 3 Hero.
At that point, I (and others I'm sure) are more likely to top up to get the rewards.

(OR, just make it a 'package value', where if you need $80 worth of Clan packs to qualify, then just check the value of all packs bought under Clan to qualify)

I already bought ANH collector, if I upgrade my Warhammer that I bought since 31 OCT 2015, will it count as two collector packs?

From what others have said in these threads (so many threads), that should count as your 2nd, yes.

I still think the following would be better...

I'd be fine if it was based on total "units" sold.
Wave I Masakari pack = 16 units (2 units per 'mech)
Wave II Man O' War pack = 8 units (2 units per 'mech)
Wave III Gladiator pack = 8 units (2 units per 'mech)
Resistance I Zeus pack = 8 units (2 units per 'mech)
Resistance II Mauler pack = 8 units (2 units per 'mech)
Standard pack = 2 units
Collector's pack = 4 units (2 + 2)
Reinforcements add-on = 2 units
Hero add-on = 1 unit
Standalone Hero = 1 unit

4 units (per faction) = Reward for that faction
8 units (per faction) = Top-Tier Reward for that faction
16 units (8 per faction) = Ultimate Reward
32 units (total) = Ultimate Reward (for Loyalists)

Not total £££ amount, but close enough and doesn't penalise the few of us who actually buy the Light packs.

Yup, as long as the collector upgrade was purchased within the current program's time frame. Since last year's rewards I only bought lowest level of Resistance II and two collector upgrades today:
JAN 28, 2016: WARHAMMER - STANDARD PACK
FEB 29, 2016: MARAUDER - STANDARD PACK
MAR 17, 2016: PHOENIX HAWK - STANDARD PACK
MAR 4, 2017: RESISTANCE II - WOLFHOUND PACK
SEP 15, 2017: PHOENIX HAWK - COLLECTOR PACK
SEP 16, 2017: MARAUDER - COLLECTOR PACK

Hey PGI, maybe u add ultimate pack owners in top-tier reward too? Only different between 2 collectors(80 dollars total or 60 if u pick double lights) and 1 ultimate(70 dollars) its 10 dollars.

Why not use the total amount of consumption as a condition?
There are many loopholes in the methods currently used.
According to the total amount of consumption to the conditions, you can also let these players have the motivation to buy MC

rules ex.
Buy MC: total
Armor package: total
Heroes: total

This has pissed me off, quite badly TBH. I am a Legendary Founder, when this game was in Alpha I donated a hundred and something dollars to fund the development of this game. Now, 4 years on, if I don't pump about two hundred dollars into this game per year (mind you I buy a fair amount of stuff it just doesn't qualify) I get shafted and they call it 'Loyalty'?

The hell is wrong with you people, the 'Loyal' fans have been here and playing for years through the good and the bad. Now we all know about Free-to-play Whales, Dolphins etc (Thank God for Jim Sterling) but don't you think this is a little goddamn obvious, a little too on the nose?

Yeah I'm salty about missing out on stuff. But to dress it up as 'Loyalty' is just insulting.

1) No.
2) Yes. This is the cheapest route, actually, you'd only need to spend 20 bucks if what you say is true.
3) Does not count. That counted for the last loyalty program. If we could cheat that way, I'd never have to buy a pack of any sort ever again and can continue receiving free loyalty mechs for life. PGI might as well give me a convertable too, though not sure if a thousand+ would really entitle me to a 40,000 dollar car... It'd be nice if it gave me an achievement or something so I could at least boast (or mourn) about it. The sheer amount of premium time I've had, used, and still have without having ever directly bought any in my life, though, is hard to argue with (almost 3 years worth).

------------
And from what I seen the minimum amount to get the top tier is 40 dollars (two collector packs if you already own the regulars which would be 80 if you didn't). By a collection such as Resistance and the amount to spend is 80 dollars. If you go by the rule of 6, the bare minimum is 80 (2 light heroes for 10 each, then 4 15 dollar heroes if you already had regular packs where you could do this), otherwise you're looking at 90 or more.

Technically I could get away with just spending 40 dollars but honestly I want to stand on principle. I'm disgusted by the supposed value of Collector packs. Without unique geometry... what is the point? Okay so unique paint job for 5 bucks more than a hero. Why do I care?

I know that soon we will have "geometry" cosmetics which we can purchase to swap out appearances and an assurance that they will not affect our hitboxes. So there is that, and likely people would just swap out the unique geometry perhaps. But it would be nice to have them as a real way of saying "I paid an extra 20 bucks for this second copy of the primary variant." Honestly I often just swap the paintjob to something that doesn't look as "ZOMG SHOOT ME NAO!" So the unique pattern doesn't do much for me.

This is BS. I bought 6 of the full[all the mechs] top packages for qualification of the IS reward top tier. Full package of the urbie, rifleman, phoenix hawk, cyclops, and the bushwacker. Also both of the full resistances packages. How do I not qualify, just because i didnt hit the collector button.
