Would it even be possible to equip two ECM on one Mech at a time? Or is there a safety in the Game Code to prevent having two at once? Is there currently another Mech on which this can already be tested, or will this uniquely be a new question popping up? Posted Image

No of course not. Just like probe and other stuff are limited to one.

Okay guys, Chris just clarified the question about dual ECM. It will indeed be limited to one per mech. Omnipod combinations with more than one ECM mount simply offer a different choice of location along with any potential location quirks.

Edit: Here were his responses.

Chris Lowrey on Twitter said:

ECM will be restricted to 1 per 'Mech just like Targeting computers, BAP, and MASC.

Chris Lowrey on Twitter said:

The KFX-G arm will only give you an additional option as to where you can place the ECM unit. Or utilize a different right arm with quirks.

A missed opportunity, but expected nonetheless. Oh, well. The KFX-G still offers ECM and M ear options for the chassis which are still interesting.

On another side note, it's time to start campaigning for that MLX-F, y'all. You know you want that juicy RT ECM on it along with those 4E RA/LA mounts. Posted Image

Most of this is pretty nice, but I gotta say the Victor is disappointing. I like my 9B, unless the mounts are good it won't do much for the mech, especially at 80 tons. Getting any interesting or useful builds going that you couldn't do on any of the other versions, or on other mechs, is going to be hard. I would've loved to see just about anything else for the top tier reward. Preferably the TDR-5Sd for a TDR with high-mounted ballistics, but really anything that was halfway interesting.

There are only two other IS chassis, that have three ballistics mounted in three separate locations, the Ilya and most of the Annihilators.
There are good things to be done with that hardpoint layout.

You already can. It is called "equip ECM and AP."

Nope, PGI does not allow an AP to counter, if ECM is present. You still have to switch the ECM to counter.

Unless they changed things and I didn't notice, that's still how it works.

One probably has to be an Urbie pilot to understand all this. ^^

I love all of these! I love that PGI runs these loyalty programs! Just wish that having bought 3 different mechpacks plus heroes and reinforcements qualified for the top tiers, but, still, LOVING these!

Edit: PGI just made me the happiest little Mechwarrior in the Inner Sphere. I was very pleasantly surprised with the updated loyalty qualifications!

Thanks PGI!!!

Kit Fox with possible dual ECM is weird. Drop the ECM and add 3 JJ locked on to mech. That would really help with mech's lack of mobility, without giving it enough jumping ability to be a poptarter or get up to elevated sniping positions.

Loving the new mechs, the patterns are great, can't wait to start trolling with that Uberurbie.
Big thanks for picking the non meta mechs for this, like Snuggles Time I like to derp hard and frequently. (When is he getting his Rainbow decal for his care bear? Pretty please with Kodiak on top.)

Just two suggestions (yes everyone's a critic)
  • Please please please load a light engine into the urbie, preferably a 180 light, let the horde experience the goodness that is urbielife.
  • Include sets of XP and CBill cockpit items (hanging and standing) for IS and CLAN,in the Ultimate Reward. As these are not available for purchase in the store and only available to pilots that spent a pretty penny it would be a great reward, especially for those that qualified but didn't get them from the Civil war packs.
Keep up the good work, now I just have to patiently wait till November, but at least I will be getting my Beekeeper pretty soon :)

Streaks work for me. Streak 2's, no; Streak 4 and 6, maybe. We'll have to see upon release.

jaj, i qualified for the Urbie (my first one :D)... and the Kit Fox *sight

what to do with the Kit Fox? i am peeking with my right side only, so it would not really fit my play, and buying pods for a mech that i dont really like or want to play in the first place is kinda stupid. can we gift/return them?

or well, just keep the KFX, i will take just the urbie, thank you.

Thanks for getting us that answer. I appreciate it. This settles all the curiosity I had about potential anomalies in game mechanics! :D

WOW a jump jet capable Line backer?! Not only is it fast for its weight class, but now it could FLY! What are the requirements to qualify for each of these mechs?

the cheapest would be buying the IIC pack for 80$

I'm blind, or the page of criteria doesn't mention Ultimate Packs.

Does an Ultimate equal two Collectors, just one, or are they just not even included from an eligibility standpoint?

An Ultimate counts as one Collector's as it includes one Collector's.

Pretty sure you'd get an error warning trying to fit two ECM suite on the same Mech.

One ECM on Counter, the other on Disrupt?

Edit: Aargh - I see Chris already provided an answer ... bummer that it won't work like that. An AMS Kitfox and dual ECM Kitfox in same team would be awesome on LURM Highlands Domination games.
