No words if audio of IS LB-X 2 is fixed when firing fast.

And of course none of this is fixed:









And I thought they would consider the suggestion of new colors for recently introduced new lasers?

Many good changes.

What I am wondering:

Light Gauss
They were so bad, and now they have a little more DPM.
Does any of you consider them viable now?

RAC2
Similar case, to a lesser degree. Lifting the ghost heat limit is more of a buff, but still:
Do you consider 3 RAC2 (24 t, ~17.5 DPS => 0.73 DPS/t) a viable alternative to 2 RAC5 (20 t, ~22 DPS => 1.09 DPS/t)?
Do the soft stats like velocity and that little more range make up for the difference?
Or are there more soft stats I am forgetting about?

Good.
Would you consider them equal to standard MGs now, will you switch them, or will you remove them in many cases altogether?

Standard AC10
Still bad. UAC still an upgrade. Aside from people playing the game to hear cool sounds, maybe.

STD engine buff
Where is it?
It could potentially repair LBX20 and Heavy Gauss, and add another choice to the menu.
And in this patch we were supposed to see buffs for underperforming equipment...

I don't think changing the global timer on strikes to 7 seconds is long enough. Should be more like 15-20s in my opinion. Let's hope people get off this dam strike spam as of late.

I know, right? I feel so mislead. There are more nerfs in this patch than buffs.

when are the LBs going to be buffed? the 2, 5 and 20 are pretty useless and could use something, anything

Mhm. I would even be glad not seeing an overall power increase but adjustments in both directions, but I was simply expecting more rebalancing!
The amount we see now would be OK if we saw a similar portion every patch.

Nice! now the Light Gauss is worth having. It's Goldie Locks and the three bowls of Porridge:

This one's too heavy with massive damage: Heavy Gauss Rifle

This one's somewhat good with minor Damage output: Reg. Gauss

But this one is just right: The Light Gauss!

I'm pleased as a pea in a pod over this.

Gosh darn it, Warhawk C got its glorious heat gen quirks nerfed.

I bought the Steam Assault II pack specifically for that mech, and I didn't even find the time to play it before nerfs!!!

There was nothing wrong with the Assassin :/. It's OP? I guess that's why I never see them in game? Seriously I rarely see them in games. If you thought the Assassin is bad just wait for the Arctic Wolf. Clan Assassin with jumpjets/ECM/4 SRM-6's with Artemis and plenty of ammo. Just slightly slower.

My bad. I resulted in that 1 out of 50 matches where a joke build of just two ac2s and 3 spls out damaged and killed more than an assault mech thus by pgi's logic they are 'balanced.' Sadly they weren't the lbx version but we all know pgi logic by now as they weight the same and do the same amount of damage just different name. On the good side the adr now is going to get a nerf along with the rest of op clan lights next patch. I mean yeah I out did three assault mechs on a joke build.

I normally see your posts as useful as the cosmic background radiation from the big bang, but I can agree with this...clan UAC10's did not need to get hotter.
