I know you guys are just trying to show off your new feature, but this is a really piss weak way of announcing the event. At least show us the whole event in the announcement thread and go "BTW, we have this cool new feature, why not check it out here."

But still nothing on the Tournaments page on the website (which is where I'm expecting to see the supporter bonuses).

I have the same problem :

NO EVENTS, not even in the future

PS: Problem solved itself ... looks like they have a CACHING delay so that you cant see events before your fist game after you launched the client

thanks for this event PGI, but there are a few points that kinda suck about it: the dmg numbers we have to inflict are a bit off.

just 500 dmg with ac5, which can be done by a halfway decent fire support mech in one single match, vs 2000 dmg with an ac20, which because of the range/the lack/limitation of the possibility to boat/limited use for brawling/the rather situational use of the weapon and a few more reasons is much harder to do seems a bit off.

i would rather do 5000 dmg with an ac5 and about 1000 dmg with an ac20 or something in this direction.

same goes for the machine gun challenge: 100 dmg with hmg and 300 with lmg seems a bit more reasonable since its easier to boat and the longer range of the later.

also, the argument that PGI just wants us to hit 100 times with each of the AC will not really be correct, since 100 dmg with the ac2 just takes 50 shots. so either someone missed out at math or they didnt really put much of a thought into it.

I switched from 'fullscreen' (no event visible, screwed up scroll bar) to 'full windowed' and the event showed up for me. I did this without playing any matches.

Edit: And then it disappears, and I had to reset from 'full windowed' to 'fullscreen' to get it to show up again.

PGI really u must have rocks in your head atm, i love the new page in game and stuff but u still need to have it on the tournament page i think.

Alot of people dont want to log into the game just to see.
1. if the event is up.
2. time left on the event.
3. what they have left to finish the event.
All without logging in.

i check mine at work and stuff, if its a good event and cant log into it to see stuff i need to cause i cant open MWO on my phone.

^^^ apart from the "rocks in the head" part (which is a bit unfair to rocks) i second this. would be good to know the exact time for vancouver without loging in/being ingame since the players everywhere else might have a bit of calculation to do (e.g. switzerland: +-9h in front)

I also would prefer if the details of the current event are available at the TOURNAMENTS web page in ADDITION to the new feature in the client !

The event is great except of AC20 part. 2000 damage for a cc weapon with a very limited boating possibility is a bit too much.
