Had forgotten it could do that. Knew the Ebon Jaguar couldn't do it with lasers and enough ammo, didn't expect the Warhammer to. Could do 2 tons of ammo with dual gauss, dual ERML, and still go right at 70kph.

You should be doing 4 tons of ammo, dual Gauss, and quad ERML at 65.

Then I'd have to swap the engine out, got an LFE280 in my Dragon at least. But at 65 kph I might as well bring a Night Gyr, though that agility nerf did hit pretty hard, probably evens out. I'll try out a few mechs.

5 kph is completely and totally pointless. The extra 10 damage is worth way more.
As for the NTG, yeah, you should be bringing that anyways. The WHM is not better than a NTG. Never was.

In all five of my "Tier 1" matches at least one full lance has failed to do even 100 damage each. So much for the matchmaker having been fixed.
I got 5 top scores, ZERO wins, and so **** this I'm done for the day.

I imagine an Mectoberfest sale will be starting sometime today, and the event will be announced with it.
A bit late, but whatever I guess.

I want to say something snide, but holy crap, did they turn the MM off? If so, I take everything bad I said about it back, because this is terrible. Two matches in, and it's been a horrifying assortment of builds, map movement and cowardice. Along with 6 people who are apparently using ingame VOIP chat to test their fart machines and at least three people who are quite obviously using a touchpad to play.
But I'm 1 for 2, so... that's something.

All you have to do to Opt-Out is to either not play, or totally ignore the Events Window. Frankly, I think I've quit MWO permanently now, but the mental climate where I live can potentially drive somebody back into burying their head in a freaking video game.

More like a way to persuade them to NOT play... Who wants to have the next surprise just show up at random?

On other notes, it looks like I'll have to be the "poor gave-up-on-MWO shmuck" to cross-link this thread to the last Event News Post. There's people talking about this in the wrong place, but I can at least do people a last courtesy.

Also, if anyone can, please post info for others on what the Challenges and Rewards are. PGI's lack of an Event News Post for this one is really disruptive to the flow of both the Game and Forums. Frankly, PGI's current behavior has reached the point of uncharacteristic of them, and they used to be more chatty. If they're hiding because of making people justifiably angry over the Previous Event, all they're doing is risking making people even more irate.

:| Isnt how you opt out of an event? By taking a break? Its how i do it. What difference does it do if one day you can be rewarded for playing normally?

Thats something exciting to try and get done in a light or very fast med and most of the time the mech is overriding by the time you stop in front of them. Others probably wont have the time to get where they need to for the shot.
