I completely agree here... it will also help deter the idiots that think they have to check to make sure their weapons work when first dropping in (where most of my aggravation with FF comes into play). And #2 should have been in the game from the get go... not everyone speaks the same language, so having the comms issue a localized warning message to the offending player, and a message to the receiving player of who inflicted that damage would become a huge deterrent IMO..
I can't tell you the number of times I've had my rear armor shredded in the first 20 seconds of the match.. yeah, I'm still alive, until the first light comes around that I can't outturn, then my game is over....
I have to say that that bugs me too. You drop and a bunch of yahoo's fire of their weapons like its a Afghani wedding or something.
They work, they always work and invariably someone cops some FF.
I also use weapons fire as a signal there is something to fire at, so when i see a team mate on my flank shooting, i assume they have a target. and change my position.
Having said that its a PUG match, That sort of unprofessional undisciplined pew pew pew for the sake of it comes with the territory i guess.
Ive seen some TK griefers over the years but im my case its pretty rare. I saw an entire lance wearing the same tags drop about 2 weeks ago, and then all leave together 10 seconds in, leaving us without an assault lance. 8 Vs 12 from the very start of match. That was pretty crappy imo
