I too am unusually enthused for the Escalation countdown and am wondering where it's got to. I'm sure the reasons for its absence are eminently reasonable. Until it arrives, here's a musical interlude:

A pgi insider just informed that the reason for there not being any updates is because they are planning on releasing patch notes at Mechcon after the patch is released.

Its always a crap shoot whether or not they start on Wednesday or Tuesday. This might be like that one countdown they did where we got more than one thing a day but started on Thursday or Friday.

Day 1 being badges doesn't mean **** to me. I want to see screen shots, agility/mobility stats, and hardpoint locations, and quirks I guess.

I ask the same thing, and got told to go watch a failed movie at the theater.

We've always had a countdown . . . no matter what. I guess Alex or Tina have forgotten this. Or Russ decided this time, there's not going to be one.

This really irks me. Cause I want to see my Nova Cat. I paid for the full package, and this is what I get? Thanks for nothing, PGI.

This pretty much here.

Hand actuators do nothing but cripple mech builds. They provide no bonuses, and the black knight hero Partisan has already set the precedent as mentioned in this thread that you can still have the visual looks of the hand without having a lower arm actuator OR a hand actuator.

So why not have both looks AND actual viability?

At this point i say bring it. I have to deal with IS'ers Reeeeing at me constantly for being Clan, i want to see my fellow warriors let loose their best vatborne waterworks.

Kinda wish Battletech had done a better job with quads and other non-humanoid designs back in the day. The Kabalevsky quadruped from Robot Jox made them look awesome:
