I'm an IS merc and that's how I'm interpreting things currently. Though if you bring up the planet list on the far right tab of the event whilst on the Faction Play page you can cross-reference the planets in rotation with the eligible list without the memorisation bit.

As to whether this is what PGI actually intended or not I don't know. I'll be checking back in 5 hours to see if those with the power to vote us into the eligible part of space actually do so.

Yeah i think the point is now they are worried they activated premium time without the incentive to play at least 12 good matches, and fair enough too, premium time costs real money from the real world which means you've had to do real work to earn it and for most of us that sucks hard.

Same, event started 2am Sat morning here so misses the whole Oceanic Friday night prime time. Am getting in my 12x 150 match scores and calling it quits - wont have a chance to play again til Tuesday night...

Getting some discos which show as "server connection lost". No good, I had stop having those when I finally got straight with my ISP, so I'm sure is not a problem from my end. My connection works fine, it was some trouble with MWO...

One disconnection happened thankfully out of any match, but the other did not.

I was able to rejoin a match just to lose a good part of the battle because all the minutes it takes to re-boot the client, go over the unwanted steps and finally get back to it.

Had my first BS match against an organized unit... what a waste...

Yah and from what I read somewhere else, people vote with their secondary account so that you don't get the planets you need for the event.

Logged in this morning to play a few games for the event. After a scouting win (gather, >150 matchscore) I checked the event tab to find no credit awarded. I did get credit for the Kurita Loyalist event ... just not the main Battle for Luthien event.

Closer investigation suggests the wins must be on a specific planet? Which the community needs to vote for? Previous events have forced all conflict to occur on the named planet ... which seems not to be the case this time. Is it possible we'll get through the entire "Battle for Luthien" event without a shot ever being fired on Luthien? Why not just force all FP games to be on a conflict planet for the duration of the event? Is this an oversight on PGI's part?

Oh that's weird. Your Kurita stuff is working but the main event isn't? I'm beginning to think this is more broken than unnecessarily convoluted. Which is good, as people might then get their scores counted.

Just won two matches but progress will not show. Why it then says it refreshes or updates EVERY minute ? It's been over an hour on one, more than hour and a half on the first one... hmmm

In the last couple days I've rather changed my mind about this event. I actually looked at the FP map the other day and noticed every capital is threatened. This is obviously not a lore based event. The title "The Battle for Luthien" made me think of lore, but there's nothing lore about the map at present, and so there's no reason to fret.

Kurita Loyalist achievements are registering, Main event achievements are not.
