Pit the content in QP for solos.

The point of LP rewards was to offset the challenge and risk of playing vs teams. Without that you're just playing SO with respawns and should be rewarded accordingly. However the content should be available for solo QP.

i finished qp. and i dont let the fact that solos get clubbed stop me. in fact fp is a lot more fun that qp where every match goes in one or two directions with actual fun matches being a rare unicorn.

Quick play is doing fine so far, why touch it. (Apart from new maps).
Its the biggest most popular game mode.
Aint broke (Well at least compared to FW) no need to touch me quick play.

A TEAM of unit less solo's should be rewarded just like any other team.

Considering Quick play is at least 10 times more popular than FW, suggest to me 10 times moar people have moar fun in quick play than faction play.
So in my mind the number of people who find FW more fun than QP must be rare as a unicorn.

A new mode to choose in QP, which already has a matchmaker. That way you're not try g to split co tributions to faction warfare. You don't get to win the phase foe your faction by avoiding the beat troops the other side has.

So you're saying the challenge for playing against a pug team is the same as playing against a coordinated 12man? Then why split? If not, then no. It isn't the same.

You're not getting it. Seals want respawns without getting rekt quite as often. Thats why the tittle is called -factionplay-lobby-for-solo-players.
Why you keep bringing up Quick Play or are you trying on purpose to derail the thread due IMO to a conflick of interest.

That quick play is considerably more popular doesn't measure fun.

It makes sense that the majority of players are more casual. Quick play is more suited if not geared towards these players. CW is more of an investment and also requires a player do a lot more than just hit launch if they want to have regular success.

Everyone's fun is different, you know that.
Why can't MWO have a place for more than one kind of fun.
And why do people get beet hertz cause other people wanna have a different fun.

I think the game accommodates are broad range of fun.

I'm saying QP in the context of matchmaker and divorced from the whole 'taking planets/belonging to factions' part of FW. Trying to integrate split queues into that is certain to have issues. Not the least of which is that given the population if a unit of 10 people all decides to play in solo queue it would be impossible to *not* sync drop.

So you split it out from the whole FW environment, make it a map/mode you select in QP, maybe even have mixed IS/Clan sides to ease matchmaking. With a matchmaker. So it's just like QP but with respawns.

Trying to split FW into solo and group queue will drive units to sync drop in solo queue, because they may hope to take/tag a world by sync dropping in solo queue to avoid better units in the group queue. Result is worse solo queue.

You want LP, you have to play in the deep end. You don't get the deep end rewards by staying in the kiddie pool.

You see that's where you are wrong. Pugs cried out for quick play maps and since that and one bucket the population has continued downwards.

So it's better dead than it would be gutting it further to please pugs.

And what a shellfish attitude, In case you didn't know you ain't the only guy playing this game.

If the pugs had their own respawn place they would be happay, pgi would be happy, and a number would filter thru to the higher level FW, wen their ready so u would be happy.

The ones that never get gouid will be happy aka benefits many not just a few.

More people happy, moar people support the game, game gets better.

With the amount of people that play QP compared to CW, there would be no harm in having a solo FP mode, after all, if teamplay is so great, then the team players will keep doing it and the solo players will be happier surely?

Unless of course, "teams" just want to keep a supply of uncoordinated solo players in the bucket to pad their stats?

p.s - we pugs.. prefer ghosts over 12 trolls

Add CW maps/modes to solo QP without ANY CW rewards.

Done. You have your solo safe spot in QP. Both sides can have mixed tech, its QP. Won't influence CW, it's QP. No CW rewards, it's QP. No teams or teamwork, yep, it's QP.

There you go. Enjoy. If you want CW rewards, participate in CW.

And as a Team and Group player in CW, we hate to face PUGs, that why we are in a 12man or Skirmish so we will face another 12man or Skirmish first and not 12 QP with respawn crutch solo players rolling then at 48-8.

I understand where solo players are coming from.

You liked McHoshi's comment about solo's should not be in FW line
yet you would deny them their own solo only respawn casual FW fun bar.
