Minor quibble, but we aren't a "House", and if we were, wouldn't it be House Magnusson?

Oh, in case anyone didn't notice, you can set your allegiance now as your avatar! Now I just need a flat version of the image instead of the wavy banner one to put on all my mech repaints...

Feelings on the color adjustments? I sorta miss the dark blue.

The dragon looks cooler IMO. The colors also come closer to the Skjaldborg unit scheme.

If I spell it colour (LOL, it shows up as a typo in the text block), can we get non-wavy versions of the logos?

Not really sad to see the blue go, although I kinda liked the extra armor bits and the tongue and eyes. Would probably have prefered the blue background staying with the snake/dragon/Jörmundgandr becoming black. That might have made it to similar to Steiner though.

Edit: Actually really feel like it's lost some of the nordic feel the old Jörmundgandr design had

I like it about the same as I liked the old one, but I do miss those armor bits and the eyes.

You are right about the feel being diffrent, but then again its supposed to follow the montra "Its not your fathers mechwarrior." so I will expect some other favorites to move out of the way in favor of a new generation. Been playing for almost 20 years soon, started the games when I was nearly 7, havent looked back. Glad to see the game is still alive.

I like the new color scheme. It looks better.

The "House" thing is just another typo like the Hunchacks with bad equipment in the first Q&A were.

That is true. Maybe we can have custom ones! (That non-balance affecting fluff they keep talking about when you level up maybe.)

While I've never been a huge seafoam fan (is it me or did we just become the Jacksonville Jaguars?), I'd buy t-shirts, patches, stickers, coffee mugs, etc etc of this logo PGI, make it so!


Seriously though, can we get the icons in a full, unwavy view? I'd really love to use them on our mech repaints, signatures, and unit forums.

Yea that is sort of my problem with it. It looks less like something the vikings would put at the front end of their longship and more like a car company.

Not one to lie - I sort of like the new greenish tint and the simplification of it all. It's also a more distinct colour than "slighty darker than baby-blue".

YMMV.

Edit: The wife likes it - says it's more attractive - catches the eye easier.
I reckon it's more recognisable at a distance.
