Sarna lists everything PGI has fabricated as Apocryphal, regardless of whether it's been branded as canon.

I imagine someone on Sarna's team is a salty boi.

If I had to guess, I'd say it could be the Ha Otoko, a Clan/Inner Sphere design. Or, based on the chest and head, it looks to me like the Crusader. Could be PGI rubbing it into the eye of Harmony Gold during the lawsuit?

As a proud CDS member, that's definitely not a Ha Otoko. She runs LRMs, and this mech doesn't have any of the Samurai branding the Ha Otoko had.

My best guess is another PGI original, which... I'm actually fine with. I used to be vocally against them, but I've been won over to the idea, in moderation.

Looks like a Stinger head
Stinger also has a right hump intake (mirrored image?)

Stinger and Wasp needed for MW5.

Looking at the art, I don't think the cockpit is offset to the right. It just looks that way since the right torso "fin" is visible over the centre torso jutting out.

Best I could do to reduce the black smudge. From that tho you can see some sort of vent on the side torso and the left arm has either a gun pointing towards you or is a hamfist.

Gonna have to agree on Bombast on this one. Pretty sure it's going to be the Anubis, just by the look of those giant Side torso thingies. sigh.
ABS-3R A variant of the Anubis meant to increase its short term and short range firepower developed in 3064[6], the 3R removes two of the LRM-5 launchers and replaces them with a Rocket Launcher 10 and two Rocket Launcher 15s. BV (1.0) = 749[3], BV (2.0) = 970[

Notice on the left arm is a 10 missile launcher, and whatever is on the right arm has 5 missiles. So the lrm 5s on the right arm, RL10 on the left arm and RL15s on each ST.

What a list...

Before you tell me which are obviously wrong or missing;
- I skipped any that only had missiles on one side of the 'mech (that I could see)
- I know some have misisles in the hands, not shoulders
- I left in some even though they don't match the minimum 5/10 R/L tube split in the art, just because

A lot of folks are automatically assuming that it will be the image of the Mech that will be announced at MechCon. That could be or it could be that it is only a PGI designed image made specifically for the MechCon T-Shirts because PGI is not licensed to sell BattleTech images on merchandise.

We find out in two days.

Even if PGI didn't officially release it at MechCon (which would be illogical), someone would just take a picture of the t-shirt in its uncensored form and post it here.

So you think they designed a mech concept art (something that costs money to have Alex do) just to put it on a T-shirt? That makes no sense. I'm 100% sure the mech on the shirt is the mech announced at MechCon.

Speaking of everyone's favourite militiamech, for some reason Sarna lists the Roughneck as Apocryphal content. Anyone know why?

The reason for that boils down to verifiable evidence. We have statements of canonicity, but none of it directly on record.

As I'm not an 'OG' BT fan. I don't mind if it's an original mech. But I can understand fan frustration. If they're making an original, they should release a fan favorite simultaneously with it.

Catalyst Decides what's canon, the Deimos was added to the battletech Universe because Mektek's Modding proved to leave a mark and thus was given the ability to add a mech to the universe.

I know how you feel but PGI doesn't have a Coder for Cryengine and there's limitations from the Eula and Engine itself, we just cant get stuff added because, metaphorically speaking PGI are people running the battlemech factories in the lore but they don't know how they "work" to produce the battlemechs.
