Honestly i cant find use for that premium roughneck and perhaps the other mech, too. Would give me a nice CB bonus at 27th if i sell them.

There seems to be some confusion here. Both the Roughneck and the Sun Spider will be unique variants from the ones currently available through the Store.

They confirmed it during the stream. When they first said it, it was kind of vague, but then they clarified that yes, we get them for free, just for playing one match.

I am freaking out over here. This is so extremely generous that I'm having a hard time believing that PGI doing this does not have some kind of sinister reasoning behind it. Like your aging grandfather finally handing over the keys to his prized sports car. You know then that he's not long.

I think this has to be included in the announcement. People just do not see that the mechs have different colors so people are confused.

According to word on the forum, people buy hero mechs purely for their combat characteristics rather than their C-Bill booster or camo. The free Sun Spider hero will have a different loadout than the Manul, and that loadout will likely be weaker.
