I believe the Tina billboard is a Blade Runner reference.

This is how I will be "objectifying Tina" on launch using stealth armor.

I wouldn't put it past pgi but that is bad. It looks like a normal day in Vegas. Are the public still there?
It's not exactly a warzone.
Well as someone who lives in Vegas, I've yet to see a Phoenix Hawk go running across the lawn, but we would definitely be competing against Solaris.

Is it just me or does the visual quality seem a bit hit and miss? Some of the stuff on the buildings looks really good and vibrant (the Pharoh advertisement at :35 for instance) but I think a lot of the rest is kind of dull and flat. I don't usually complain much about the graphics in this game but I couldn't help but notice it. Still, I look forward to it.
Is that destructible object/terrain at :50 and :52?

In retrospect, trying to make a a nuanced point about gender stereotyping in a Mechwarrior forum was doomed to failure from the outset.
As I said earlier, it's up to Tina how she chooses to be portrayed, and it's up to her employer whether they ask her to appear on billboards in Space Vegas, or hang medals around the necks of tournament winners, or whatever.
How we react to that portrayal is also up to each of us.
But I'll opt out of the personal insulting, thanks. Have a nice day, everyone.
I really have no idea how it's possible for people to find this of all things as offensive. It's like you have a list of items that you are told are "offensive" and be damned context.
It is literally a smiling person holding a can of what is probably a beverage. But, because it was a female,a woman, the triggers are pulled.
Now if the trigger was gender biased and the perception was negative based upon the gender of the person depicted, and since there are no indications of any sexual context (literally a face and a hand shown) isn't the assumption that the person is being depicted in a "crass or objectifying" manner in and of it's self sexist?
Would anyone be "triggered" if it was Paul's smiling face and hand holding a can? probably not and that is why the route of this argument is most likely some SJW bullcrap rather than any actual concern of morality.
The entire argument lacks any equality bias.

The whole map references Bladerunner, right down to the flames coming out of chimneys at the beginning.
Incidentally, that Geisha reference is another reason the Tina image on the billboard triggered a certain disquiet.

Pretty hard to tell from the small section shown.
I would hope that there is a mix of areas.
Some major arterial roads that connect/divide more dense and cluttered areas.
Either way, there is a lot to like from that short snippet.

It's not exactly a warzone.
In about a decade, it actually becomes one during the Jihad as the WoB come knocking.

Social Justice comes to MWO. Oh my.
Just don't forget the part that these big stompy robots are a blatant realisation of the male power fantasy and should be banned for the good of all.
